apcmiller Posted October 26, 2005 Share Posted October 26, 2005 Well ladies and gentlemen it's probably time to say goodbye, at least for a while. I live in california in the good old USA and have been out of work for the past 6 months now. I apply for jobs everyday on monster and go out and apply for jobs 4 or 5 days a week, but no luck. It probably has something to do with the fact that I don't speak spanish and that pretty much cuts you out of any retail or service jobs in Southern California and I dont really have any other skills. So, at 5'oclock today I expect that they are going to turn off my DSL seeing as how I havent been able to pay the bill for a while. I really enjoy the internet and its going to kill me not to have it. I want to tell everyone at this site that it has been a pleasure to post here on a regular basis. People here have a tendancy to behave themselves and the MODs do a great job of keeping everyone in line who doesn't. This is generally the only board that I post to becuase you actually try to help and have an interest news, great software updates and cr**ks, and put up with me well. I've learned alot here and wish everyone the best of luck in life. Hopefully I'll be back someday. I'm so freakin depressed right now. I'm gonna miss the internet. I've been addicted to it since I was 10. Actually probably been on it every day since too. Lets see thats 5110 days in a row. No more free porn, music, or programs its just a life change, I'm sure I'll get used to eventually.man monster just a email raiding site. you can still go to the library to use the web.you did req at the unemployment office right? just asking. i know a lot of CA house rent or owning mortage is costly. hav eyou try fastfood just to pay the rent/house bill? if you own the house sell before it goes under. have you thought about the military? even your state's national guard? join the us army you have basic thats 8 weeks of paid income. even get money for having a wife and she not living with you even more money. your mos course thats couple weeks to 6 or 12 months. free freaken money. bonuses for joining and certain moses and year sign up. fast send off to basic is another bonus. $5 to 15 thousand easy. prior serve. go back into the same mos in the guard is $15 thousand. mlitary will pay to move your stuff and store it. active mlitary pays bah to live off post and free housing on post. gas water and eletric free. famliy dnetal cost only 15-25 a month. it varies every year. medical free. life insurance for you $400,000 at month i believe now. and $100 on the spouse. thats cheap and it doesnt matter if you smoke either. cable and dsl is kick azz on a post. this is all just a thought and something to think about. bills and money problem and the stress is hell on a marriage. goodluck. please keep us update okay. ei public library internet.edit dang 4,343 viewed this thread. something is fishly Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

For about 4 years he worked a Freelance Web Designer and part-time College tutor.He got fired from both jobs as his little brother grassed him in on piracy, showing legit screenshots of piracy active on the computer.He lost the net for 1 year and 2 months and returned about 3 weeks ago.I'm sure he knows what it feels like as much as I do. I'm working crazy hours, but I'll post when I can.good luck. commissions do suck. but like you said a job is a job. you do get a base line pay at least right? keep looking for jobs on your free time inside the mall and other places. btw you are not xmas hiring are you? do good and you should be able to get a different job there.
