I refreshed Online, and says that is not available...Key Type "Retail"

:(

None of the tools will tell you about retail keys availability your key could be brand new keys you never know unless you activate it. All this tool tell you availability about mak keys but not retail.

How many times you can install Windows on your computer without having to re-activate?

You can reinstall Windows on the same computer as many times as you want because activation associated with the Windows product key information about computer hardware. If you make a significant hardware change, you may need to re-activate Windows.

You can activate on the exact same hardware on reinstalls online usually without problems of any kind. Note that you if you reinstall, you will have to reactivate. That is why you are better off on the same hardware to back up the activation and restore it when you reinstall.

There is a limit of how many times you can reactivate in a certain time frame. But it resets over time if not done for awhile. I am not sure how many before you have to call in how short a time but I think it is 5 times in one year.

This is a retail key. MAK and Retail keys are not the same thing. MAK keys are activation keys that are purchased for multiple activations on multiple machines. This a Volume license Key. One MAK Key can have thousands of activations on multiple machines. A MAK key can be checked with VMAT, a Retail Key can not.

I'm sorry but I'm not sure what you're saying.

Just yesterday, formated and activated Windows 8 Pro and Windows 8 Pro with Media Center, three times, and throughout this year I will have done at least about 10 or 12 times more ... and may be more occasions.

I know its not convenient especially when you have your own key but use Phone activation via skype i am %100 sure you will be activated. There is no difference online or offline activation actually offline activation has been given by M$ customer if they don't have access to the internet just follow the call instruction and dial 1 every question you have been asked more info:

There is no limit on how many times you can use a purchased retail key on the exact 100% hardware. There is a limit if you change any of the hardware between installs. Like a new hard drive, a new video card, a new nic card. Any change in hardware and there is a limit. Not sure how many but think it is 5. Over time this is restored if you don't change it again.
