Resolved Firefox integration problems...

From 5.16 I've had problems downloading stuff from the proxy.

The IDM CC 6.3 integration module for Mozilla seems to be the cause. Reverting back to the IDM CC 6.1 and everything is ok.

So are you able to download from the proxy (http://proxy.nsanedown.com/) using the latest version of IDM and Firefox?

How to integrate it with SDWare Iron ?

Since SDWare Iron is based on Chrome i guess that enabling the support for it in Internet Download Manager could be enough for it to work.

Dunno since i don't use any of them

How to integrate it with SDWare Iron ?

You can integrate it with almost any browser IF you enable the "advanced integration" feature.

I have it enabled and I also tried the "detect new application that try to download something" ... it doesn't recognize Iron. Ticking Chrome doesn't seem to help either.

if you remember from previous builds and using gags patch, i was having trouble getting it to work. well now i have, but this is how i did it..

i installed IDM, normally, without disconnecting from the net

closed IDM from the system tray

opened gags patch in winrar and copied the exe over to install dir

started up IDM and began downloading without a hitch

it seems the reg file included in the patch was giving me problems, without merging it however i have no problems at all. if anyone else was having the same probs as me, give this method a go.

the regfile shouldn't give anybody problems cause it uses REGEDIT4 instead of the normal one.....and REGEDIT4 is compatible with every version of windows no matter the sp (1, 2, 3) or os used (vista)

completely doing away with merging the reg file is what did it for me, just using the exe. now i don't have any Internet Download Manger entries in the registry, just a Download Manager one. Anyway, it's worked for me and now i got the gag patched version of IDM working :D

Busting IDM Keys Corrupt at startup

This is how I got IDM to work with Gag patch.

Procedure:

1. Uninstall any installed Build.

2. Restart

3. Clean Registry Entries for 'Internet Download Manager' and 'IDMan.exe'

4. Download the setup and Gag Patch from DOWNLOAD

5. Install and Finish the IDM installation setup normally without disconnecting from the network.

Info: It may give you the Trial Expired Message at this stage. Click ok.

IDM will open the Registration Dialog. Click on cancel to exit.

If any IDMan.exe instances are running, please Exit.

6. Download the CrYs18 patch from

Download »»»»»»»»»»»»»» Mediafire.com

Sharecode »»»»»»»»»»»»» /download.php?ijzmezt3mic

IMPORTANT: Links provided by Jofre

and copy patch to IDM folder on hard drive and execute it. It will Create a Bakup of the original IDMan.exe and add registration info in the Registry. Upon successful patching goto step 7.

7. Run IDM once.

Info: It will most probably give you that Dreadful Keys Corrupt message. Close and Exit Idm.

8. Run IDM again.

Info: This time it should run flawlessly; then only proceed to step 9. If not, then you are probably busted! Sorry!

9. Extract contents of Gag patch (using Winrar) to your hard drive.

10. Exit IDM and close any instance of IDMan.exe that might be running.

11. Run regedit and delete the [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Internet Download Manager] and all its subkeys.

12. Copy Gag's IDMan.exe to the Internet download manager Folder on your Hardy, replacing the CrYs18 patched one.

13. Run the _.Reg (Extrcted from Gag patch)

14. Run IDM Again.

15. Voila - Enjoy!!!

Important Notes:

1. Credits go to:

--> CrYs18 (patch)

--> Gag (patch)

--> Jofre (CrYs18 patch link provider)

2. I tried this solution on WinXP Home 32 bits ONLY. Have not tested it on Vista. You are welcome to test it on Vista and post your comments.

3. It is still working after a reboot and setting my date 1 year later.

4. This has worked for me and I do not claim that it will work for every body.

Peace.

Hi Peace_Angel,

1. Before installing IDM, please uninstall any previous build selecting COMPLETE option...

2. If you delete the key [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Internet Download Manager] before installing, then you will never get the "corrupt keys" message... :D

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now i uploaded a video tutorial for you and others. Extract the RAR file you downloaded, doubleclick on EXE file... :pos:
