tigerjack
I have win 7 pro 32bit and every time I use utorrent 3.3 (finished downloading files via the magnet link and closed the program in the right way) I can not shut down the system. Freezes in a "shutdown in progress." I have read a few blogs about the problem but i have not found solutions. Any ideas? Thanks

tigerjack
@ ravisooryaI am using kis 2013 with nfr code downloaded from here (it is a kis 2010's key, and is therefore not compatible with kis 2014 - read the topic of november ra1n - if I understand correctly). As you may have read I tried qbittorrent but the problem is not solved.I will try some other solution or wait situations safer for kis 2014.@ unknownasphyxiated...try disable Application Controlis one of the checks I'll trythanks to all
flitox
does your system freezes if you close utorrent but haven't downloaded files??maybe kaspersky is checking the files when you want to shut down the computer??you could of course try to uninstall/reinstall kis and/or give a look at their forumhttp://forum.kaspersky.com/

tigerjack
:D :D :DFor the first time today everything workedIn Kis I selected "do not examine network traffic" in rules-exclusions of firewall regarding utorrentIn utorrent I selected "increase the size of the cache when necessary"However I do not have to delete the file and the utorrent data in the same work session but in the next one after having rebootedIt's not a great solution but for now it worksIn the coming days I will try other methods
flitox
weird problem for sure.you could also try to exclude the utorrent download folder from analysis.when uninstalling, kis ask if you want to save config and licence info so if you do unistall/reinstall you won't loose your licence. Do you agree?- If I save config and license (although nfr taken from this site) I'm sure kis remains enabled as before after the new installation. yes or not ?Thanks

Do you agree?- If I save config and license (although nfr taken from this site) I'm sure kis remains enabled as before after the new installation. yes or not ?Thanksusing windows unisntaller should do the job as expected so you can go with it. and don't forget to reboot after uninstallyep. for extra safety you can also manually save your config (config/advanced parameters/ last option on the left, click on export) before unstalling.if you're using a skin, better go back to normal skin before saving. otherwise you'll have to reset the skin in order to see the imported setting works.of course this is not a miracle solution, maybe it won't change a thing and your problem will be still there.
