fccard
Hello friends,I have a question about this Virtu MVP program. On the end of 2012 I bought an ASUS Maximus V Gene motherboard and that MVP came with it as bundled software. The problem is that the version that came on the original disc (CD) and the one available on ASUS MVG site are very old and not compatible with Safe Boot function, which I need. So I downloaded the new version from LucidLogix site that has support to Safe Boot, version 2.1.226, and after installation I noticed that MVP did not get auto activated/registered as earlier versions and only gives 30 days as trial. I contacted LucidLogix and they said to ask ASUS. ASUS said their only available choices are the one from original CD and the one from ASUS site version 2.1.221. So, does anyone know how to install the latest version one and make it activated, if possible? Or is there any "private" link where we can download the full version? Or perhaps is there any "medicine" for this program? Thanks in advance.P.S. Excuse my poor English, it's not my main... fccard
fccard:you need oem version here http://www.lucidlogix.com/driverdownloads-mvp.shtmlmvp2 and mvp is not the same!I know, friend. I'm using the OEM version from that link you said. From that same link, if I remember, the version 223 (or maybe 224) is installed as registered but the latest one, version 226, for my surprise, is trial (30 days only). So, is that the MVP end for me? I hope not, that's why I'm here :)I can't believe ASUS did a such mistake adding a bundled software on a motherboard box that is not compatible with it and now that we finally have a compatible version released, we can't use it as registered (have to buy the software)... fccard
I found it on usenet.I haven't tested it.OK friend. I just installed it and it's working fine - at least is shown as activated.I'll now run some games to check if it is fully working. I hope this "cracked" file works for further versions too.Again, thank you very much. :)
spudboy
I wish they would update the stupid thing. I've tried contating them for months with no replies whatsoever, becasue the dual 32/64 bit installers they have had for the last few versions completely breaks ZoneAlarm.
