Question regarding Firefox

Hi, guys? How are yo? I've a got a question regarding Mozilla Firefox: sometimes I close a tab and it keeps running on background (it hangs) (see attached pic for more info). Is there any way to (force) close it? (also restarting works, but I want to close it without restarting the browser). Thanks in advance

Update your Flash and clean cache, maybe the browser not have full permission in process lasso.

Happens to me sometimes too. I always surf w/sanboxie so if FF dont close right I click on SBie option in taskbar "Terminate all Programs". If you use SBie this is an option for you. g/l

My Flash is up-to-date. Process Lasso is not always running (I run it when I have hangings)

Use CTRL + W in the frozen tab.

Use the CTRL+W trick as stated by emerglines, if not working.. I don't think there is a way because Firefox uses only one PROCESS when running

That does not work. It closes the tab you have open.

Remove any plugins in your browser, install java the latest version, and check if the problem still, if still i'm 100% that the browser have problems in permissions so make a backup of your bookmarks and reinstall it clean using administrative permissions with out any plugins, and give us here the list of your usual plugins you install...

It happens randomly with randoms websites.

Do you need Nvidia and Realtek running? I'd disable their startup if I was you, and anything else you don't need. It all consumes resources.

you can safely remove 90%of those icons on the bottom right - but i don't think it will fix your problem.
