If I make a snapshot with AX64 of my hard that has RollBack baseline, and save the snapshot on an external memory, all should work fine, no? If for any reason something happen with RollBack's baseline, I can restore it with AX64 from my external drive, or I miss something?

You need to uninstall RollbackRX (in Windows or subconsole) before restore with AX64

You can't capture Rollback Rx 10 snapshots using any imaging program leave alone AX64TM.Also Rollback Rx won't allow its MBR entries to copied to the backup image when you make a backup inside Windows, you only get MBR of the OS only(i.e., before you installed Rollback Rx).Also you can only capture the current snapshot not all the snapshots. So when you restore the image, you lose access to the Rollback Rx sub-console and,you need to uninstall(inside Windows OS) and reinstall Rollback Rx to get it working.

Rollback Rx corrupts the image restore of AX64TM(if you have installed Rollback Rx before AX64TM) while having both installed on the system.

Rollback Rx users might want to take a look here.

BTW, Rollback Rx 9.1 users can make use of Image for Windows 2.77 version(newer versions do not work, versions older than 2.77 might work),to capture all Rollback Rx snapshots and restore the image successfully.Changes have been made to Rollback Rx 10 Version builds inner workings,so don't waste your time on it.

Best advice i can give is first have a complete backup image of OS(preferably most recent one) with all the updates, then install Rollback Rx.If something f***s up the PC,restore the image.

Rollback Rx is the boss of your PC once installed on the system. So don't play with that guys for your own good...

Better use AX64TM,as you can save the backup on external drive and restore it later in case of disaster.

Thanks, Well I had only installed AX in Shadow Mode just to see if it's pre-activated, to know if it worth saving it for another PC that doesn't have RollBack on it, if It's so tricky to use it alongside RB. thanks for your help.

Well I didn't make any backup or any of that, as I said, just installed it to see if it's pre-activated or trial.

I just quoted you to make sure that no SD/AX64TM user who reads this thread is affected by using both these softwares on their PC.
