anyway ... there is no new version , its programing mistake the mismatch version

I think it just is a special build (because pre-activated), it's not a official build and not a mistake, it could be a internal version number, so it's easier for them to give appropriate support to readers of PC Format having that special build (because it's not a paid program version but a magazine gimmick), actually the payment option isn't available on the homepage, so can't tell which support you actually can get.

Those who want fast restores like AX64TM and do not need some advanced features of AX64TM(of course don't like pirating),check Realcopy

From features page

  • Block level roll back for super fast recovery

It is important to maintain computer operations and recover from a system failure, spyware infection, or installation gone wrong as soon as possible.

This is an extraordinarily fast method of quickly reverting an entire operating system to the exact state prior to backup. Other applications use a full system restore which may take a considerable amount of time; but Realcopy uses a ‘synthetic restore’™ to restore only the required blocks very quickly.

For comparison at this moment with AX64TM

there is a location on ax64 server that u can download lots of beta build , that isn't count , we only take a look on the stable \ official release which is http://www.ax64.com

in this case , the build come from some gay magazine out there (:D) ... from my exp i saw same situation like that who need to check (in general) that NO OPTION are disabled , missing , or its for more than 30 days limits but got time limit...

We found out that Boot defrag feature of PerfectDisk may result in corrupted AX64 backups. So until we find a workaround it's not recommended to use boot defragmentation with PerfectDisk. Online defragmentation is ok

If you're defraging in real time the snapshots will be much bigger.

Again. here's the compatibility report for software

I have it installed and I made a snapshot onto a removeable drive. But how do I make backups on my hard drive (C./) ? In the destination box it doesn't show my C drive, and it doesn't let me type it in....I can't believe that you need to have two hard drives installed in your computer, or that you can only install to removeable devices..what am I missing (apart from a brain I hear you say!!!). I tried the AX64 site but I couldn't find the answer there.

I can't see any imaging program allowing to store/save the image on the same partition that you want to restore. You need to partition the drive if you have only one partition on it.Otherwsise you have to use removable drives.Even if an imaging software allows you to do that, you can't be assured of successful restore.

BTW,you can contact support by going to http://www.ax64.com and click Feedback & Support
