OK I am dnlding en_windows_8_1_x64_dvd.iso and have got the keys from pastebin with the instructions to use the pro key: "-C9WKB". Am I good to go? Thanx

Thats installation key after install you need to change the key for activation ones they are in different Pastebin

ok...I really dont care for the pro version. I would just like the basic core edition of Win8. I assume that en_windows_8_1_x64_dvd.iso will install pro or basic edition depending on what key is used. All I need is a basic core edition key to install with and to activate with.

I think I will just wait then. I dont want the pro version, it has a bunch of junk I'll never use like bit-locker and remote host etc. I am in no hurry to "upgrade" to Win8. I just wanted to get this stuff dnlded and figured out for maybe in the future. As far as this iso goes en_windows_8_1_x64_dvd.iso I would like to find out for sure about if it will install the core or pro version? I assume it will install what ever version the key I use is valid for? Is that correct? If so I will continue the dnld and just wait for a core key or other means of activation. Thanx for any/all help.

The key used for installation ( installation key ) determines what version installs pro or core . After installation you need a specific pro or core activation key. Of course you can use core just without personalisation untill a key becomes available.

ok, thats what I needed to know. Thanx! I will continue to dnld en_windows_8_1_x64_dvd.iso and squirrel it away for the future.

EDIT: I did see there is a core install key "-D3VPT".

Are you sure these are genuine Enterprise links. Because the name WZT is mentioned in the name. Can any of you confirm if these are genuine?

Go to the MSDN Subscriptions Download Sides and check the hash...

They are genuine last MSDN Edition from WZOR MS just has been updated the MSDN Edition on 17 October 2013 with inc 3 update thats all even people already download will get those patches then edition will be the same.

some people have a pro version or so they say they do.

not sure if this has been posted or not but here are 2 places it seems you can download the newer 8.1 not sure if they are matching iso's and not sure if you can use existing win 8.1 keys or not but worth checking them out maybe??
