Ron Paul: Syria Chemical Attack A ‘False Flag’

During an interview on Fox Business’ Cavuto Wednesday, former Texas Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) commented on the unfolding situation in Syria, specifically calling the recent chemical attack a ‘false flag’ likely carried out by the US backed Al Qaeda filled rebels.

I think it’s a false flag…” said Paul. “Why don’t we ask about the Al Qaeda? Why are we on the side of the Al Qaeda right now?”

Despite the Obama administration’s attempt to immediately blame Assad’s forces for the chemical attack, multiple U.S. officials have said that the administration’s evidence is “not a slam dunk.” Officials also mentioned that the administration had no “smoking gun.” In fact, the rebels have now even claimed responsibility for the attacks, and Anthony Gucciardi has revealed that mounting evidence lends to the reality that the Syrian rebels carried out the attacks.

Even with Syrian Deputy Foreign Fayssal Mekdad presenting evidence to the UN that strongly points to a rebel led chemical attack, the Obama administration has continued to ignore any evidence that can’t be used to justify military action against Assad, including multiple YouTube videos showing rebels launching chemical weapons on civilian targets.

Paul also exposed the history of lies and propaganda used by the US government to justify military intervention, pointing specifically to the Iraq war.

“Look at how many lies were told to us about Saddam Hussein prior to that buildup, war propaganda. It’s endless, it happens all the time,” said Paul, also pointing to Donald Rumsfeld’s role in supplying chemical weapons to Saddam in the 1980′s.

Mounting evidence forced out by the alternative media has destroyed the government’s credibility, with now only 9 percent of Americans supporting military intervention in Syria. The international backlash also caused UK Prime Minister David Cameron to momentarily back down after the British parliament voted against authorizing military action. Cameron later decided to send Military jets to Cyprus, claiming the move was purely “defensive.”

Editor’s note: This declaration by Paul is a perfect example of how we are winning the fight against the globalist attempts to launch World War 3 through a hot war with Syria that is ultimately failing and blowing up in the face of the establishment thanks to the alternative media and voices like Paul’s. And whether or not the Obama administration is crazy enough to go into a hot war with Syria, the people are now fully aware of what’s happening.

You wanna know what countries have nuclear weapons in the Middle East? this is an easy one "Israel" :)

Why would the US decide to intervene now in Syria? is it because alot people died? Well 100,000 dead upto date what changed now?

Is it because they used chemical weapons? Why is that different than the phosphurus weapons used by the States in Iraq, The US is the biggest hypocrite in the world.

There are a couple of scenarios for the attack on Syria:

1. The US attacks weapon factories in Syria so that when the "Islamists" Take hold of the country they don't have any weapon factories or stores.

2. They attack the Islamists and the Assad forces at the same time to deepen the conflict in Syria and prolong the conflict.

In the end the US if it attacks it will do it for the gain of Israel and not the gain of the Syrian people.

Edit: Some spelling mistakes

an attack on Syria "real" or as at this point "threatened to be" is no more than a message to Iran... lets all hope that it is just political rhetoric and stays as such

Don't think the states will attack Syria, that will anger the Soviets and the Chinese way too much.

I hope not...but they are getting desperate now. With all of the scandels being released it wouldn't suprise me that they will try to play the good guy and go in to "peace bomb" the country. The USA government has been taken over by a criminal element; bankers with lots of money and power and an agenda to destroy. They litterally do have an end game and this looks like it is it.

If this attack carries out it WILL begin world war 3.

*sits back and eats popcorn*

maybe the Islamic countries will all bomb and wipe each other off the map. then the US can kill off the victor. Serves them all right for invading the world in the Persian - Macedonian era. they deserve it, historically speaking.

Islamic countries didn't invade the world in the macedonian/persian era, they did it in the Islamic Era.

If the U.S. bombs Syria and innocent women and children are killed then Obama should be charged and prosecuted for crimes against humanity.

Maybe in your dreams, the world is 80% ruled just like how the forest is ruled ^^, I've never seen a winner charged or prosecuted for crimes :p, US used Nuclear weapons in Japan... and because they won the war.. there was no crimes!

Whenever US economy is in recession or nearing recession they start a war.

And if US starts war, they will get the biggest benefit from it by showing to world that they are good guys and peace loving nation trying to create peace.History shows us that war cannot create peace. It just starts another war.

They are biggest producer and researcher of arms. They get to test their arms technology in actual scenario.

Their economy gets boost by trading in arms.

President Obama is already a war criminal ...

He supported Al-Qaeda and extreme militants in Syria (weapons , media ,..etc) and Kills Yameni people via drones (pretension: fighting Alqaeda !!) ..

the USA is on the verge of bankruptcy...

that is why they want war even when their best alley UK is not supporting them and countries like russia are asking for proof that the Syrian govt carried out the chemical attacks.

Check latest developments, US has made their case(acting as good guys) and preparing for attack.

bottom line is this....ALL countries are capable of doing evil when it comes to protecting their best interests...NOT ONLY the USA as some here think

ambro..you critical thinking is seriously flawed because you not only can not, but also do not want to think critically..you have always had a predetermined outcome to your thoughts and actions on every single topic you post to..so you tailor your "evidence" to that outcome..don't believe me? ask your professor ...but first be totally honest with him and show him ALL your proof of the 911 attacks being perpetrated by the government of the USA and ALSO show him your proof that it was not a terrorist act,,. ultimately you will do no such thing because you know your professor will tell you that you are seriously misguided.as well as totally wrong. Again i point out that you want your country to be the evil of the world so much that when another country gets caught with their pants down you spend your time attempting to "find" the evidence that your country is behind it all in the first place

yep Dmog, this is all political rhetoric but by talking strong but acting weak, you easily looses all credibility.

bashar was told he should not cross the red line which apparently USA had proof he did. it was before setting that line that the congres should have been asked for.

(or could it be the proof of USA decay??)

also here i don't think Bashar cares of the country interest but only for himself or his religious stream.
