I urge people to avoid purchasing products from FXsounds, including the DFX audio enhancer due to horrible customer service. I have been repeatedly ignored, receiving no replies when I send messages to the support team through their online site.

Twice within the last 8 months I have attempted to purchase upgrades to DFX, which I had long enjoyed, gone through the purchase process, received a verification of purchase, but received no follow-up message providing a new serial number. When this happened the first time last fall, I let it go as I was still satisfied with the version of DFX that I was using.

Within the last week, after being nagged repeatedly to update my version, I decided to try again. I used the update button provided in the software. New software was downloaded and installed with no warning that a "light" version was overwriting my preexisting full version. I completed the purchase process as previously described and was told that my receipt with the new serial would be coming soon. It did not.

When I tried to continue using DFX, I found that I now had a "light' version that I could not adjust and which I did not like. After waiting a day for the receipt, I sent a message to the support team expressing my unhappiness with the situation and received the canned message that I would be contacted within two business days. I waited over the weekend and through the day on Monday for them to have the two full business days and received no reply. When I tried to check my order status, I could get no verification that they had my order, just a repeated message that my order number was invalid. I have now removed all versions of DFX from my computer (I had the Masterpack) and will no longer do business with a company that provides no customer support whatsoever.
