Filequest 7 ?

Hi Folks.

I had this file manager before and it was quite good, and it got lost somehow when I changed PCs.

It does some cool stuff that no other explorer replacement does quite as well.

It was by Piquest, and their site is gone (piquest.com), and none of my searching turned it up, not even Mamont has it listed anyplace anymore.

I know it is an older program, but it was also quite good so I hope there is a way to get it.

In case anyone can help me out with this, I need the install file (fq7gold.msi) and truly hope someone may have the medicine for it to share as well...?

Did you actually try getting that file from anywhere - or just saw links and figured it's all around ??

(I know how to use google, thanks.)

When I tried any of the download links, they pointed to dead locations.

I also searched using Mamont, DDG and Ixquick.

No installer file or medicine found.

After about an hour of that I asked here...I am not lazy, but had no luck, so I asked for help.

I tried to find a med but all I can find is this site.

Most of them said it worked but I can no longer download it.

Lucky, one of the guys (loadmaster1991) left his twitter there (https://twitter.com/JoeyNL) and is still active.

You need to contact him, he might be generous to share it with you.

Just a reminder, check the file he will give @virustotal.com if it is a cr@ck. If you run it do it under sandboxie. I just hope its just a serial text file as said by RobbingHood.

I got the installer from the 1st link fine - a huge help, thanks !!

That dellitoday link is hopeless though, and I don't use twitter at all, so hopefully someone who has good medicine for this will see this thread and kindly be willing to share it at some point before the trial wears out.

(I may try to portable-ize it too so as to bypass restrictions...)

That dellitoday link happened to host a medicine but all the links were now useless. But some users posted that it worked and one might still has it in his possession. Here are the posts under that page.

CLEAN and WORKING with no problems. Tested on WINXP/SP3-32. Serial works. *Hint* Nothing wrong with this download.
