Marik Posted April 2, 2009 Share Posted April 2, 2009 I understand your words, but not the meaning behind themAre you using XP or Vista?Just download the installer from the download link, and get the crack.Install trojanremover, and at the end un-tick the search for updates now.If you are using windows XP, simply copy/paste the "rmt.dta" file into your installation folder (that should be in case you didn't change the patch C:\Program Files\Trojan Remover)And if you're using vista or windows 7, just unrar all the files anywhere, and double click on the bat file. Chokk Posted April 2, 2009 Share Posted April 2, 2009 I'm under VistaTry to explain my process:1st time, I install TR v6.7.8 with the link in the top of this post (http://www.nsanedown.com/?request=13400937), then at the end of the install, i uncheck "check for update now" and while I'm under Vista i unrar all files from Trojan.Remover.v6.7.8.2572-FFF in the desktop and run vista_inst.bat. Marik Posted April 2, 2009 Share Posted April 2, 2009 ok then...manual way it isPlease unrar the contents of the archive anywhere.Then rename "rmt.dat" to "rmvtrjan.exe".Then copy the newly renamed rmvtrjan.exe from the place you unrared the fix, and paste it into your installation folder.Simplest tut:1. Unrar2. Rename rmt.dat to rmvtrjan.exe3. Copy rmvtrjan.exe to installation directory and overwrite the original rmvtrjan.exe4. Done Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
