munch Posted March 31, 2009 Share Posted March 31, 2009 Thanks for the update and for adding gags patch, but again it's not working, nearly the same thing as before. After installing it, it keeps giving a popup which says, IDM has not been installed properly and do we want to find out how to install it properly. The last gag patch was giving popups about a registry problem. Tell me if it's just me doing something wrong, but i did follow the intructions to the letter. Marik Posted March 31, 2009 Share Posted March 31, 2009 are you running vista?honestly man both myself (xp sp3) and a few other guys whom I gave the patch over msn that are using vista, haven't reported any problems with it. It's working just fine for them.You prob have used alphas-patcher in the past I recon....please uninstall IDM completely using your uninstaller, and then try again with the gag patch. I love the way gags patch takes that stupid "registration" menu and the others dont. I know to remove the registry keys, and to make double sure, i tested it in vmware, using a clean install snapshot with no other software installed. That screenshot i took was from vmware xpprosp3 32bit. I've followed the instructions to the letter, even tried a few other ways of doing it, still no good, for me and it seems others too.
