possible to make image of win8 PC for my laptop ? if yes,instructions ?

Hi my friends ,

I have PC with windows 8 PRO with some softwares installed on it . I need to make a image of the whole Windows with all of softwares in it for my laptop .(HP 6190)

Is possible or not ? Does it do any harm ?

Please help how can i do it ? thanks a lot. (please suggest a best software for this too)

you have to look for acronis bootcd. or macrium reflect bootcd.

then you boot from that cd and kan make a image of the whole system.the image you make can you place on a external harddrive.for later use if you want to restore the system back.

Always make a backup of the image.

you can't do that because hardwares are different

You can try using ghost (search google: onekey ghost)

but why all people suggest a program ?but you said it's not working ?

you can try, I don't think it works correctly

if you want an image working with all PCs, you search google and download: ghost Win8

Windows 8 has a command to make an image... from elevated command prompt something like this...

wbAdmin start backup -backupTarget:E: -allCritical -quiet

Then you can restore it with a System Repair disc or from windows 8 repair environment.

Is the image working with my laptop too? I think it's kinda hard for me man.
