Delivering on the “more customizable” promise, Windows 7 now supports the ability to load images into the background of the login screen without the use of third-party software or manual hacks.Figure 1 – Logon UI background image before and after customization.Method 1 (Using Tool) Win 7 x86 & x64 Only (Thanks Goes to WinVista06) Step 1- Download IrfanView and its pluginsStep 2- Select an background image you want to become the logon screen From HereStep 3- Select an image from the site from previous step Step 4- select the Screen resolution then click DownloadStep 5- Install the irfanview and its plugins and open image file with irfanviewStep 6- Click SaveStep 7- A save box will appear on the side and you see the file size change box and make it 256 KB then click saveStep 8 Download the background changer from HereStep 9- extract the files and open LoginBackgroundChanger.exeStep 10- Browser for the image and then click Set BackgroundMethod 2 (Using Logon Studio) For XP/Vista/ Win 7Step 1- Click Here- Download AreaStep 2- Select an background image you want to become the logon screen From HereStep 3- Select an image from the site from previous step Step 4- select the Screen resolution then click DownloadStep 5- Install Logon Studio and open after installationStep 6- Click CreateStep 7- under Name enter a name for logon screen, Enter Author and click BrowserStep 8- Browser for the image and then select itStep 9- Click SaveStep 10-Select Your new Boot screen and click ApplySource: TheHotfix Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
