Changing Windows 7 Logon Screen

As you probably know, Windows 7 build 7057, a build recently leaked to the public, sports a new (yet ugly) login UI background. Delivering on the “more customizable” promise, Windows 7 now supports the ability to load images into the background of the login screen without the use of third-party software or manual hacks.

Method 1 (Using Tool) Win 7 x86 & x64 Only (Thanks Goes to WinVista06)

Step 1- Download IrfanView and its plugins

Step 2- Select an background image you want to become the logon screen From Here

Step 3- Select an image from the site from previous step

Step 4- select the Screen resolution then click Download

Step 5- Install the irfanview and its plugins and open image file with irfanview

Step 6- Click Save

Step 7- A save box will appear on the side and you see the file size change box and make it 256 KB then click save

Step 8 Download the background changer from Here

Step 9- extract the files and open LoginBackgroundChanger.exe

Step 10- Browser for the image and then click Set Background

Method 2 (Using Logon Studio) For XP/Vista/ Win 7

Step 1- Click Here- Download Area

Step 2- Select an background image you want to become the logon screen From Here

Step 3- Select an image from the site from previous step

Step 4- select the Screen resolution then click Download

Step 5- Install Logon Studio and open after installation

Step 6- Click Create

Step 7- under Name enter a name for logon screen, Enter Author and click Browser

Step 8- Browser for the image and then select it

Step 9- Click Save

Step 10-Select Your new Boot screen and click Apply
