Administrator Lite Posted March 29, 2009 Administrator Share Posted March 29, 2009 <img src='/images/logos/News.png' class='logo' alt='news' />Over the past few days, the staff have been quietly adding some new applications. I thought it would be an idea to make a post just so you know exactly what we have done! Here’s the list: Added a drivers section (contains 10 applications currently - all new)DefragExpress Secunia PSI (highly recommended to see which applications you have installed have potential security risks) Vipre Anti-Virus RegVacIf you have any further suggestions or comments feel free to post a reply in this topic. We hope you enjoy these updates. There will be more changes coming soon! Thanks,The nsane.down team
cTnko
Hi guys, i saw the driver section, maybe i can give u some hints / updates?Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility http://rapidshare.com/files/204742716/Inte..._9.1.0.1014.exe (9.1.0.1014 WHQL, 5th February 2009)Intel® Turbo Memory driver http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Product_Fi...?ProductID=2813 (1.8.0.1018 - 2/5/2009)and Intel wifi drivers would be a nice addition Intel Wifi http://files.laptopvideo2go.com/wlan/intel..._v12.2.0.11.exebtw i must say i really happy that u added nvidia beta drivers, finally i have way to keep track of themand for realtek drivers (doesn't meter if they are sound or ethernet) its better to upload them to some fast hosting, because realtek driver servers are mostly really really slow, and it takes long time to download for example 20 mb driver package

Rock Lee
Suggestion only*For the drivers section, a good driver update detection software would be good too (in my opinion).Uniblue Driver Scanner 2009 is a great program that updates drivers and if there are any problems,DS2k9 automatically backs up the drivers that were updated, meaning you can roll them backseamlessly. Marik also stated how good the program was incase I need any back up :)uniblue is very good :tooth:....specially their diver updating appI have provided one including a serial if you so choose to use it.Mediafire.com/Sharekey: ?sharekey=a25f15279883b21a6b21be4093fab7ace04e75f6e8ebb871Again, just a suggestion :D► Rock Lee
jalaffa
Thanks for the feedback Rock Lee. We are somehow reluctant to include a specific update detection software as of yet. They do have a tendency suggesting not needed updates. Also - cTnko - I see what you mean regarding updates of realtek drivers.

kazaaman
This isn't really related to the driver section update, but these are some noteworthy applications.- Dropbox: Dropbox is the easiest way to store, sync, and, share files online. Available for Windows, OS X, and Linux.- Teracopy PROTeraCopy is a compact program designed to copy and move files at the maximum possible speed, providing the user a lot of features.- DigsbyManage all your existing IM, email, and social network accounts from one easy to use application. (Uncheck all the toolbar bullshit)- EverythingLocate files and folders by name instantly.- TweakVIThe first software designed to both tweak and optimize Windows Vista. Pretty much like TweakUI except for Vista.- WinSCPOpen source freeware SFTP, FTP and SCP client for Windows. - PuTTYA free telnet and SSH Client for Windows and Unix platformsAnd those are my suggestions :).
