<img src='/images/logos/News.png' class='logo' alt='news' />Over the past few days, the staff have been quietly adding some new applications. I thought it would be an idea to make a post just so you know exactly what we have done!

Here’s the list:

  • Added a drivers section (contains 10 applications currently - all new)
  • DefragExpress
  • Secunia PSI (highly recommended to see which applications you have installed have potential security risks)
  • Vipre Anti-Virus
  • RegVac

If you have any further suggestions or comments feel free to post a reply in this topic. We hope you enjoy these updates. There will be more changes coming soon!

Thanks,

The nsane.down team

Hi guys, i saw the driver section, maybe i can give u some hints / updates?

Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility http://rapidshare.com/files/204742716/Inte..._9.1.0.1014.exe (9.1.0.1014 WHQL, 5th February 2009)

Intel® Turbo Memory driver http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Product_Fi...?ProductID=2813 (1.8.0.1018 - 2/5/2009)

and Intel wifi drivers would be a nice addition

Intel Wifi http://files.laptopvideo2go.com/wlan/intel..._v12.2.0.11.exe

btw i must say i really happy that u added nvidia beta drivers, finally i have way to keep track of them

and for realtek drivers (doesn't meter if they are sound or ethernet) its better to upload them to some fast hosting, because realtek driver servers are mostly really really slow, and it takes long time to download for example 20 mb driver package

Suggestion only*

For the drivers section, a good driver update detection software would be good too (in my opinion).

Uniblue Driver Scanner 2009 is a great program that updates drivers and if there are any problems,

DS2k9 automatically backs up the drivers that were updated, meaning you can roll them back

seamlessly. Marik also stated how good the program was incase I need any back up :)

uniblue is very good :tooth:....specially their diver updating app

I have provided one including a serial if you so choose to use it.

Mediafire.com/

Sharekey: ?sharekey=a25f15279883b21a6b21be4093fab7ace04e75f6e8ebb871

Again, just a suggestion :D

Thanks for the feedback Rock Lee. We are somehow reluctant to include a specific update detection software as of yet. They do have a tendency suggesting not needed updates.

Also - cTnko - I see what you mean regarding updates of realtek drivers.

No problem :) ; I see what you mean & fully understand.

It's there if you ever decide to use it. Just thought I'd bring it to attention :D

This isn't really related to the driver section update, but these are some noteworthy applications.

- Dropbox:

Dropbox is the easiest way to store, sync, and, share files online. Available for Windows, OS X, and Linux.

- Teracopy PRO

TeraCopy is a compact program designed to copy and move files at the maximum possible speed, providing the user a lot of features.

- Digsby

Manage all your existing IM, email, and social network accounts from one easy to use application. (Uncheck all the toolbar bullshit)

- Everything

Locate files and folders by name instantly.

- TweakVI

The first software designed to both tweak and optimize Windows Vista. Pretty much like TweakUI except for Vista.

- WinSCP

Open source freeware SFTP, FTP and SCP client for Windows.

- PuTTY

A free telnet and SSH Client for Windows and Unix platforms

And those are my suggestions :).

I must say ++ to dropbox and Digsby, they are both really useful i would also consider Pidgin

Good old nSaneDown...

Just loving it! for all the good and efforts to help everyone! :dance2:

Would I "Request" Please?

a update in video/DVD management tool section please? :welcome:

to be frank- I have tested so many tools so far, but with no real clear new favorites

Still the "best" as for burning- ConvertX to DVD; ripping- DVDFab (awfully resource/time consuming in order to get matrioshka- .mkv files); Total Video Converter as most complete (nowhere perfect Suite)... good and ensible and opinionated guide to for such ventures would be appreciated too! (totaly cheeky of me)

Thank you!
