Get rid of annoying Ads from Firefox Start Page!

Here is how you can easily get rid of annoying ads that appears every time you open Firefox..

Steps:

1) Open Firefox and Go to "Troubleshooting Information".

2) Click on "Show Folder".

3) In this folder create a new folder named "chrome".

4) In the chrome folder create a Notepad and paste following into the notepad..

@-moz-document url(about:home){
/* hide snippet container on the about:home page */
#snippetContainer { display: none !important; }
}
as below..

4) Now save the notpad as "userContent.css".

5) Now close the Firefox and Launch again..
Done!!
Now no ads in start Page..

Nah, that's not ANNOYING :rolleyes:. That's acceptable as mozilla gives us a great tool for free to surf the web with ease. Nice tutorial though :)

Well.. It may not be annoying for some users. they can keep it "as it is".. :D

it is ok with firefox own home page :)

what about google home page ?how to remove ads on google home page ? :showoff:

Use adblocker.. :rolleyes:
