demoneye
HYAwell , finally i got a simple proof . not bases on numbers (lame tests) that opera 15 /16 is much faster and smoother than google chrome OR any chromium clones out there (Srware iron , comodo dragon).just enter google street view and compare :)...there are many other place opera wins big time but some users refuses to admit it!ENJOY :)

Administrator DKT27 Posted July 31, 2013 Administrator Share Posted July 31, 2013 I'll repeat what I've said before, don't compare Opera to Chrome or Chrome clones, compare Opera to real and latest Chromium version.
demoneye
I'll repeat what I've said before, don't compare Opera to Chrome or Chrome clones, compare Opera to real and latest Chromium version.and results may be worst, anyhow the pure "chrome" what we called chromium is buggy , got many security holes , i wont recommended to use it , unless u don't care much about your pc , or Under sandboxie :)
Gabben
I did and Chrome is faster even with addons enabled. Sorry dude.

Beamslider
Does it really matter? What ever is a few microseconds.....Delays of the net are more of a pain that fast load on browser.

demoneye
there is no war since opera 15/16 proven to be the fastest , just try google street view , and u will see which browser act better !so simple :)
Journey
Speed does not largely matter for me. Opera 12.16 with it's special tabs, the ability to group tabs, save sessions and it's GUI, such as the toolbar, have all but been destroyed in versions 15 and 16. It's totally unrecognizable now. So now it has speed and has given up on its old GUI.. Well, I'm sticking with the older version of Opera and then probably will migrate, eventually, to either Slimbrowser or Firefox. Through all of the new versions, Firefox is the only one to, pretty much, retain its original GUI. Slimbrowser is pretty spiffed up with features built into it with NO add-ons. Anyways, that my 2 cents worth on the new Opera.
lordnsane
miliseconds difference is what differentiates these three great browsers, if that's what you count, then you're great, for me, i prefer firefox just for it's debugging addons which makes websites code breakdown easier and thus it's efficient for me in finding website vulnerabilities in manual and automated scanning... :DOr some detailed Browser War can be found here, which showed Firefox to be the winner if you really count those "miliseconds" difference: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/chrome-27-firefox-21-opera-next,3534-12.html
Kalju
Me seems, that this is not a browser war, it is more like a sandbox war. When I was a bit younger.
sirri
I have not found any browser test or benchmark that using app called " Google Street View " ;)
rseiler
Through all of the new versions, Firefox is the only one to, pretty much, retain its original GUI. Not for too much longer, though I don't recall when. Have you seen the screenshots of the future version that looks an awful lot like Chrome?
