Today i noticed some weird square sign in volume mixer. Is something wrong with Fonts or is it indication of some infections??

Have the same thing with realtek mixer. Don't think is an infection

A search of the web seems to indicate it is possibly some kind of font issue related to either explorer or chrome. Some say they got rid of it by reinstalling the driver. Most seem to say just ignore it.

I can confirm that redownloading the driver and installing it made it go away. It appears to have something to do with fonts and region code on the computer. The driver downloaded from realtek site from the US server doesn't have the issue but one from the HK server did. So might be a language issue for Windows.

I checked and I have the same thing! :omg:

Maybe it's a bug from one of those wonderful Micro$oft updates...
