I don't know what's happened with my Sanboxie for the "past 2 days" already. It suddenly stopped working.

I mean it works fine using "UUK" patch since as far as I can remember (3.xx) until 4.04, but stop working for 2 days already.

FYI, normally after I've done all the steps applying UUK patch & dseo13b, and it normally works fine. But now everytime I applied the patch and then restart my PC,

the Sandboxie service can't start "automatically" like it used to be, or even can't start by "manual" start AT ALL.

Really frustated, until @ the moment I just saw your post, so I feel happy that after 2 days of my hard work finding how to get my sandboxie work again, I saw your patch,

HOWEVER, it does NOT work as I expect >_< . It says only nothing patched!

OMG, I don't know why my sandboxie just stopped working for 2 days, since I've never had any problem with it like I said above since version 3.xx.

Oh well, hope someone can help me out on this issue. >_<

You have mentioned that you have used UUK patch and dseo13b, using all steps and everything was working fine for version 4.04.

It implies that you were using Sandboxie in Test Mode.

Now at first using dseo13b.exe exit from Test Mode and restart your system.

Uninstall Sandboxie with Total Uninstall Pro or Your uninstaller Pro or Revo Uninstaller Pro. and if you don't have three of these uninstaller softwares then simply Uninstall Sandboxie from Control Panel--> Programs and Features, then Using Ccleaner, clean all registry entries of sandboxie.

Then,

-- Do a fresh install of Sandboxie 4.04.

-- Exit Sandboxie from Taskbar.

-- Copy the Patch by Nael to Installation folder in the Program files.

-- Run the Patch with Admin rights.

-- Click on Patch then Exit.

Now Launch Sanboxie...

Done!!

I think these patches are cosmetic, ie...I tried the first one earlier....Sure it showed sandboxie registered but, when I set it up as I would normally I checked the box 'force firefox to start sandboxed' it wouldn't\doesn't the same as an unregistered sandboxie.

1st of all, thx for your suggesstion. BTW, I've done all from what you said, ok I will describe a bit deeper of what has happened.

As I said in my previous post that it's been working since ver 3.xx up to 4.04 using UUK patch and dseo13b technique.

But my sandboxie had stopped for the past 3 days already.

And what I have done to solve it (but it doesn't work)

1)I uninstall using Your Uninstaller using supermode (if I remember correctly, the bottom one) to clear everything including the sandboxie, folder, setting, registry. So ok now no traces left for sure as I entered "regedit" and have a look one by one too.

2)I install "fresh" sandboxie 4.04 original setup.

3)Ok, now my Sandboxie Service, & Sandboxie program work normally, but in "About" says "Unregistered copy. Register today!"

anyway Free functions are WORKING just fine.

4)Using either crack (UUK&dseo13b OR patch by Nael)

4.1)UUK & dseo13b

4.1.1)1st method --> Patch UUK and restart PC,,, now my Sandboxie Service CANNOT automatically & even I start it MANUALLY, still CANNOT.

--> Using "dseo13b" and restart PC,,,,STILL my Sandboxie Service CANNOT automatically & even I start it MANUALLY, still CANNOT.

4.1.2)2nd method --> (DO ANOTHER UNINSTALL & FRESH install ONCE MORE TIME) and do this step directly (SKIP STEP 4.1.1)

--> Patch UUK and then using "dseo13b" in a row, then RESTART PC,,, now my Sandboxie Service CANNOT automatically & even I start it MANUALLY, still CANNOT.

4.2)Patch by Nael --> (DO ANOTHER UNINSTALL & FRESH install ONCE MORE TIME) and do this step directly (SKIP STEP 4.1.1 & 4.1.2)

--> Patch using "Patch by Nael" the one that he posted yesterday (15.08.2013), but inside the crack said "18.08.2013" which TODAY is just "16.08.2013" WHAT??? patch from the FUTURE, ok NVM.

---> anyway after I press the "Patch" button, it says "nothing patched!", and that means my Sandboxie is still UN-REGISTER, and ONLY can be use the FREE functions.

But yeah, because of "nothing Patch", so after Restart PC, my Sandboxie Service & and Sanboxie program works normally BUT IN FREE MODE.

So now what can I do then? from my explanation above, it means after using UUK & dseo13b, and restart PC, sandboxie service cannot start in any way.

and If I "DO NOT" patch OR using "Patch by Nael" which does NOT do anything, I only be able to use the FREE MODE (unregistered)

for the "cracked by Nael" I do NOT know if it were working or not because I have never used that crack until yesterday, which does NOTHING on patching.

However, for the UUK technique. it HAS BEEN REALLY WORKING, NOT just Cosmetic patch,

because all the REGISTER functions are FULLY FUCTIONALLY WORKING. including using more than 1 Sandboxie at a time, and no Randomly Pause time while you are using it, etc....

The UKK patch works fine, I was referring to the other 2 patches in this thread, I tried them and I believe they're cosmetic they do NOT make sandboxie work as fully registered.

Same here, as they are just cosmetic fixes so only free functions are working fine (Tested on windows 7 x86). :)

My System is Windows 7 x64, and yes I've been in Test Mode (build 7601) since using Sandboxie 3.xx version.

At first run dseo13b.exe with admin right and exit from Test Mode.

Reboot.

Uninstall Sandboxie and clear system registry.

Now follow the Instructions carefully..

1- Install Sandboxie. Close it on taskbar
2- Use Keygen, fill up the fields version and syscode by clicking on ... then apply patch. Don't do anything with the Time.

3. REBOOT
4- Close Sandboxie on Taskbar

5 - Use dseo13b (run as admin), enable test mode and sign a system file: C:\Program Files\Sandboxie\SbieDrv.sys {location may be different for x86 and x64 bit version}
6- Reboot.

7- Close Sandboxie on Taskbar
8- Use Keygen again, fill upthe fields. Fill the Time to 20991231
Done.

If it still doesn't work, then go for Sandboxie 3.44 version.

google it. this version is available with Keygen for which no Test Mode required and it works perfectly with Windows 7..

1st of all, thank you so much for took time helping me the instruction above,

However, I followed it 1by1 carefully, but it still doesn't work

I mean for step 1-3, everything is ok, BUT after I applied UUK patch and REBOOT,

the sandboxie service won't let me run, and of course the sandboxie program itself cannot run.

After doing many test, it doesn't matter that if I install Or run sandboxie in Test mode OR not.

My sandboxie will NOT work, IF and ONLY IF I apply the UUK patch.

FYI, for the step 2, ok in the UUK patch, version & syscode show me correctly,

BUT after apply the Patch and reboot, like I said the Sandboxie service & sandboxie program do NOT start at all,

and that make the UUK patch not working (AS I've TESTED MANY TIMES), I can conclude that if the "SANDBOXIE SERVICE" does NOT OR CANNOT run, the patch will not show the version & syscode info

(ANYWAY, I still could do the step 4-7, but NOT step 8 as the reason I gave you above, that UUK patch doesn't show anything (version & syscode) and of course, that means the UUK patch and "Activate" my sandboxie at all.

OK, so now WITHOUT OR WITH RESTARTING the pc (I've tried both after tried uninstall & re-install sanboxie manytimes),

but it's of course UN-REGISTERED, and only works only for the FREE function.

I really don't know why this program happens for the past 5 days already and still persist and I cannot really find the real program causing it.

Thank you for another advice, but it doesn't seem to work on my system too.

I mean after uninstall & Fresh Re-Install Sandboxie, ok, now I can open the service & the program, but OF course still in free mode (Un-Register)

then I AFTER i use the LNDL patch, it does nothing until I restart my PC, right?

So, I restarted my PC, and then BAM, my Sandboxie service CANNOT start, and by that means the sandboxie Program cannot start too.

So, now I do uninstall & Fresh Re-Install Sandboxie again, and then NOT apply any patch or crack, then restarted pc.

Then After login to my windows, BAM Sandboxie service CAN start, and sanboxie program CAN start too. But yeah, FREE mode (Un-Register) again

I don't really know what causing the SANBOXIE service not to START after using the "Patch" or "Crack" to it.

It might be some trigger that let Sandboxie to detect or whatever if the RELATED sanboxie file has been altered, then make the SANBOXIE SERVICE stop (CANNOT START)

This is really bad, as it looks like, it happens to me only, not others, this will make much more difficult to find out as I described quite earlier that I haven't done or change anything with my system

since 6-7 days ago before my Sandboxie became this weird behavior like this.

Anyway I'm too sure that I did an Uninstall (CLEAN registry also), and do a FRESH-Install Sandboxie 4.04.

And then kill all RELATED program to sandboxie too.

However, after I using your "generic patch", in the dialog box of the program said

what u said was completely right , actually i have not tested the 64- bit patch because my pc doesnt support virtualization to emulate and install a 64-system .
so, try out those couple files ( they are from my 32 bit o.s ) , i hope they would work for u , add them in your app. folder and agree to replace . please reply back in all cases .

Thank you for those 2 files, I've just tried it, however there is some error message popup when I run those 2 files (After replacing with the original one)

I'm not too sure that those error happened because the different architect (mine x64, your x86), so that's the reason, isn't it? I don't know about that = ="

Butt looks at the following picture, the filesize for both cracked files are quite different from the original one

So in my conclusion now,

1)x64 architect system should only be using "x64" files (SbieCtrl.exe & Start.exe)

2)Let's see whether or not your "x64-generic patch" works on x64 system, so just like you said previously, I may need to wait for someone who are using x64 system to try your patch,

and then if it is successful, I should ask them to make a copy of those 2 files from their system and try to replace those 2 files on my system, and see if it just easy like that.

2.1)If someone who are using x64 system and try your patch, but it doesn't work, so it means that your "x64 generic patch" doesn't work on x64 system too.

2.2)If someone who are using x64 system and try your patch, and it really works, but when I try both 2 files from them and it does NOT work on my problem, so that means my computer really has a problem using any patch OR crack OR any type of alter files which make the Sandboxie detected system to block from running on my system, and that also means, I really got a HUGE problem finally = ="

3)Waiting for someone who might got the same problem as mine on x64 platform, and try to find out together what really cause this to happen.

3.1)If finally no one has the problem like mine, again, I really got a HUGE problem definitely finally. T___T

However, I just calculate the time your GMT+0, to my current timezone which is GMT+7,

So it it means 9PM GMT+0, equal to my (next day) 4AM GMT+7 which quite early in the morning.

So would you have free time on another day, I mean, it would be great if you can make it in your morning OR afternoon on Saturday Or Sunday,

because if it's evening in your timezone, it means VERY EARLY Morning in my timezone.

actually i have tested a 64- bit xp with the same way descriped with my friend remotely , but it failed , please upload me your complete installation folder of sandboxie , i will see what i can , if it doesnt work again , we will make a date next week , because i have really no time

fyi, sandboxie installation file can be extracted using 7-zip

so you can get the file yourself
