What's new in this version: Version 3.09:

- New HTML installer incl. user tutorial;

- Interactive feature tour;

- Stability improvements;

- Multiple bug fixes.

Note: Make sure to do a slow installation, since the setup gives you the option to do a custom installation,
where you can decline installing the toolbar and set a new homepage/search engine. Some antivirus vendors
may flag it as false positive.

Can I keep the license and activate it when I want? or will expire in 6 months?

Good question, i think you can redeem it when ever you want, the key activates the subscription, as long as you don't redeem it, you should be able to get the full 6 months anytime later too.

How is hotspot shield in terms of logging your usage and other info about you? I tried googling the subject but found it difficult to locate much of any info? Their website doesn't seem real informative on the issue. Anyone read or heard much about logging with this company?

Thanks for your post n0_risk! I appreciate learning about this.

The Way AnchorFree Uses Information Collected from Hotspot Shield:

AnchorFree may use automatically-collected information in the aggregate to monitor the advertisements displayed on the Hotspot Shield, and for purposes of research or analysis. AnchorFree may disclose automatically collected and other aggregate non-personally-identifiable information with interested third parties to assist such parties in understanding the usage, viewing, and demographic patterns for certain programs, content, services, advertisements, promotions, and/or functionality on the Hotspot Shield.

You should use it only for easy stuff. (They don't say how many servers they have, they don't give a clear answer when it comes to logs, they have the headquarters in Switzerland I think)
