Camera-related Questions:

So I got me some questions about cameras (for my YouTube sh**).

1 - Is there a way to plug in a Microphone (doesn't have to be a cam mic) on a digital camera (or a DV Cam)

2 - Do all Camcorders have remotes?

Currently I have: Canon ZR600 (the oldest one from 2007 it has a remote and a fairly good mic)

Sony Cybershot DSC-W310 (pretty good for its cheap price. Shoots in ..HD? the only problem is the piss-poor mic)

The camera's too expensive for me to just save up for. I earn $0.50 snipped off my $2.30 allowance.

I suupose it depends on what your trying to achieve ?, are you looking at using the DV cam as a web cam, or just stream the audio ?

If yes :-

Firstly I'd go to http://canon.driversdown.com/Canon-driver-list/s_340_1.shtml and grab the correct drivers for your DV cam, plus any suites they offer, and then take it from there.

Or :-

Are you looking to add an external mic to the DV cam you have ?, if yes Amazon do external mics for it, however I expect any normal pickup mic will be suitable.

Sorry if i'm way off the mark on what it is your trying to achieve.

Dodel.
