If you need to send sensitive data over the Internet you should encrypt it first. But what about the other side? Your
correspondent will probably not like the idea of buying and learning some software just to decrypt your file. No
problem here if you are using Silver Key!

Silver Key produces encrypted files (or parcels) ideally suited for sending sensitive data over an insecure channel
like the Internet. Silver Key parcels are self-extracting, so the correspondent on the receiving end does not need
to install any software to decrypt the file. Creating an encrypted parcel with Silver Key is incredibly easy. All you
need to do is right-click a file or a folder and select ‘Create Parcel’. Silver Key will produce an encrypted file, which
you can upload to an Internet server, send over your local network, or just attach to an email. Silver Key uses highly
reputable Advanced Encryption Standard to protect user data, with its 256-bit encryption key far exceeding the
HIPAA requirements.

Oh no , i uninstalled the Giveaway version that was offered at that particular day, and installed ur pack and also placed the Inv Softworks in the desired folder.

Windows XPC:\-Drive_________/C:\Documents and Settings\NAME\Application Data\Inv Softworks\Kryptel Common Data\Settings\silverkey.licsilverkey.lic -> That is the Activation file

But the program is not getting activated, i tried placing the license record directly still no good. But noth working.

I don't know what to think, i am trying the portable version now, will reply back soon.

Any solution to this.

I had the same problem with USB version, but it worked after I tried the 2nd time. After I copyed the license was still asking me the license.

Btw does one has any spare key from kryptel? I lost that promo.

Hello after running the completeskinstallation.exe it goes to the "Completing the Silverkey Installation" box, where it seems its activated, and running the Silverkey icon from desktop it still shows the Activation box.

And giving the CustomerID and the license record directly, still the message shows, "Product license is not valid for this computer."

Are u sure you h' tried it yourself, i even used the reg file that was created by regshot during the initial installation of the program during the giveaway and still its not working.

I m not getting Silverkey in the Contextshell menu.???

Yup, i always test but i only have one computer. :lol: I don't test activation methods on every giveaway but i test activation files. I have the feeling there is some hardware activation going on, what s#cks because you can't change your hardware or computer without loosing the license. That you put everything into the correct location showed the "Product license is not valid for this computer." message. Yesterday and today i tried to activate with the Customer ID and it still worked (you just need internet access). Does the portable/USB version work with the license file? There is nothing in the registry that is for interest, so you don't need anything from there. But at least the USB version should stay activated, no idea if it will be activated using hardware info, too.

Yesterday I have installed the desktop version just with the customer id, I had some problems with USB version but it worked only with the unwrapped version and customer id, the version from their site with GOTD customer id didn't work. (just as info so others don't waste time :P )

Yeah u r' right, i used the default customer ID, and activated it on-line, the portable version too worked with the key u' provided, tried it under xp and win7, however the license key for desktop version when used by the GAOTD custmoer ID was different to that of win7, and the license key for portable version doesn't work for winxp or win7.
And portable version doesn't provide the context shell menu, and its pretty manual after that. I think after one will not find the program too functional.

Lets hope that the customer key ID will work long enough to be used in another hardware too.

But whats amazing is no_risk coming up with a portable version. :)
