I'm a pothead who goes to college. It amazes people I can smoke every day and somehow I get good grades and I'm not dropping out of school. Amazing that doing your homework and then getting stoned somehow works.

Cool tip about the pH level in your body. I don't really see how it works though if cancer cells are just cells that don't do anything but reproduce. I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just lookin for more info. I'm a biology major and I like to know how this stuff works.

Another words on what starts cancer: Anything. Cancer just needs one thing to trigger the start of cancerous cell reproduction. That trigger can be smoking, 2nd hand smoke, too much sun, bad diet, DNA and its aging, looking at computer screens, being on a cell phone. Among soo many others. Its very unrealistic to ever pinpoint the cause of cancer to 1 (one) cause. People can smoke for 50 years and not get lung cancer, or have any problems at all. Maybe someone smokes for 1 month or not at all and they get lung cancer. It is far easier to blame cancer on cigarettes (2nd hand smoke or not).

Marijuana causes Schizophrenia whether smoked abusivly or non-abusivly. It doesn't kill, it is a calming recreational drug with many effects.

People enjoy it mainly because it's illegal, the buzz I get after a few joints at my friends makes me calm, relaxed and talkative.

There's no "Killing" spelled out in the word. It does not kill. FACT.

All this crap about it being Harmful and Toxic, is literatly Government aided, it's meant to attract drug users into a trance of paranoya, it's a scare and the Government dish out millions of pound every year just to get that scare into people's minds.

if they legalized marijuana the economy would skyrocket instead of all our money from drugs going to columbia cuba and other places they would go to farmers, pharacies, and it would become cheaper leaving the people who do it regularly with more money instead of paying 15 to 20 bucks a gram you could pay like 3 or 4

this goes for heroin cocaine and anything else too if we sold clean needles with clean drugs for people who want to fuck themslves up it would at least make it more afordable and safer for instance AIDS wouldnt be passed around as much if you go a clean needle for a dollar instead of using someone gros aid infected one that has been used 20 times

ah..... teachers who refuse to admit the truth its a common problem. You have to take alot of what the American school system teaches you with a grain of salt. History for instance is schewed by the winners, the American conquest of the west from the indians for example, horrible genocide for the most part and our history books make it seem noble somehow. Even our math is just what they want you to learn, there is a whole different way to do math called alterntive math that they refuse to teach (even though its easier). Just look up everything you learn and answer there questions they way they want if you care about your grades.

I so agree with this a lot. When we learn history in our classes its almost always bias... History is just told from one sides view. You end up with glossed over parts.. its just stupid. I remember asking my history teacher why certain things were left out of the history book (i forget the actual historical event we were studying at the time but the book talked about everything except for this one sad piece) and the teacher was like "Oh, they feel you do not need to know about it" HELLO! If someone bad has happened in history people SHOULD learn and remember it so it doesnt happen again. Its pointless to learn all the good things that happens. People just end up walking in the world thinking their country is the best and never did anything wrong.

As for math, my teachers say if you know the official way, know why the shortcut works then you can use the shortcut. And i personally dont mind about that cause at leaste i get the choice to use it.

EDIT: Actually that reminds me of THomas Jefferson. Many people dont know he had slaves and even had sexual relationships with many of them.. Why dont many people know about it? Cause the history books accedentally left it out.. Go figure.

In my opinion there is really no credible argument to legalizing marijuana. Sure there are scientific studies, but remember that these are all in controlled environments. We may not know the repercussions of legalizing marijuana until years after it's been made available to the general public. Marijuana related injuries or deaths may emerge, and we'll have another fiasco of people suing big marijuana distributor companies as a result. There is a lot of risk involved if you ask me.

Of course, legalizing marijuana and smoking marijuana are two different subjects. :o :D :rasta:

yeah, fully legalizing it is a bit over board, but decrimalizing it (like the UK did) is what i think should be done. that way you can posses it, grow it or smoke it...aslong as it's for personal use :o

No, I play video games alot and weed does relax you but I seem to have better reaction time when stoned due to the fact that I'm not stressed out and I can concentrate on one thing at a time. Reaction Time is the time that it takes for your mind to process information. Relaxed is not being stressed out.

i totally agree with acpmiller on this one. EXAMPLE: yesterday i was playin prince of persia the two thrones and u kno that first boss? the giant fat man with no throat in the arena? well u kno how u need to climb way up there and then like jump into his face and execute them "speed kill" moves on him? for those who dont kno u have to press the left mouse button in THE EXACT MOMENT that ur dagger glows (like half a second or less) well those "speed kill" moves ARE SO FRIGGIN TUFF i often miss them :D so anyway i was tryin that for awhile, finally got pissed at dying so many times, went and smoked half a joint and what do u kno? i killed him in 2 trys. ive always noticed this "video game skill enhancement" after tokin up, and it does seem that reaction time increases like 50%, but only if u are not moving? i say this cuz a few times id get high with my friends and then they would drive around, but id always notice that theyd suck at it, BAD. well obviously thats why its a rule and law not to drive under any influences. we stopped ridin around in fear of getting dead or busted, and now we usually just do it at sumones house (loaded with snacks and video games lol) that way no ones life is in danger. it does relax apparently, but the funny thing is i always get MEGA paranoid xD like im always thinkin "omg im gonna get caught" "police are comin" sumtimes i even think i hear voices (not like real voices, im not insane ppl. but like, well like it was prolly said already weed sharpens ur senses a shetload, well for me at least, so like i hear sum noise and my paranoid state of mind makes my brain think its a voice. this only happens when im takin a shower tho... i stop and listen and its not there, so they not REAL voices but sounds mistaken for voices. its like i hear a sound and automatically think its out to get me lol) and things freak me out a lot (probably cuz my sharper senses are 2 sharp 4 me lol). anyhoo to sum it up i agree with nsane, acpmiller and all the other pro-ganja ppl :rasta: also nsane, ur weed closet is AWESOME LOL!!! looks like ur a pro, well i got sum seeds saved from all my smoked weed and i wanna plant em in a lil pot (im in mexico currently so i can put it on my balcony with no worries lol) and basically i was wonderin if there are any special things i need to do? im kinda noob with the whole growing weed scene, i just smoke it lol. but as a lil thing to do i wanna have my own lil plant, so if theres anything i need to kno first plz let me kno :P

yea, problem is that when sum ppl are under an influence they think its fine and do it anyway... thats how ppl die in car crashes all the time... its sad really, kids are always told not to do sumthin dangerous and they do it anyway. my mom is like a hippie at heart and pretty laid back and im even home schooled so i learned a lot about life already, and i see things thru better and actually think of the consequences of doing things like that. but i see kids doin it all the time, they just hop right in the car and think everything will be ok... tell that to their greiving mothers.. i am against it, and when stoned always walk (lol it may sound more boring than a car but when ur high, anything is fun :o)
