mana
Avira has come up with a new version 9. Any one who has installed it any feed back will be welcome, esp regarding these things1. How it runs in win 7 beta2. How much of a system hog is it3. Now the free version includes the spyware removal then why should one go for a premium version. Peace and love for everyone in this great community
demonon
Hi,Avira beta ran great on win 7, so I think final runs on win 7 too.Avira never was a real system hog, and this version is even lighter, although it isn't really noticeable.I don't know whether which version has which options. I think only the premium version has anti-drive by downloads and mail shield.I personally don't need those two options and especially because the free version has anti-spyware I will just go with the free version.Last I want to say Avira has great detections! With the new improvements in the heuristic engine Avira caught around 85-95% of new malware samples! I did the testing myself.I haven't used AV's in a long time, but I think I will install avira v9, it's really great!
