Windows Phone... Fail....

Windows Server 2012 Metro server - Will Fail... too....

This metro shouldn't be turned off since the tools are now as metro apps. <_<
There is also a very powerful powershell in replacement of the GUI. :wtf:
All the 3rd party tools you use to manage things are now gone. :(

Add Silverlight to it. Even Bing can be added.

Let me clarify some things:

Kiss compatibility factor, as of the latest os wind0ws 8, goodbye!

For me wind0ws 8 without metro and aided by 3rd party startmenu tools that removes metro is quite a good OS but removes backward compatibility.

You cannot play games on it that is not specifically built for wind0ws 8 anymore.

Micros0ft will no longer add any backward compatibility driver factor for games and software not targeted to be built for windows 8 but for wind0ws 7 below only.

Same goes to the server. Legacy server softwares can no longer be used for Windows Metro server. Damn! :(

That pic will also apply to users of wind0ws 8 and Windows 2012 (Metro) servers.

You have to test which games and softwares will have a chance to work on those systems.

That brings to mind the training session that I had the opportunity to conduct yesterday, where a young lass stood up cockily to ask me a riddle. She asked, "Sir, there's a battle raging between 2 teams of 11 each - one team of 10 idiots being led by a wise man and the other team of 10 wise men being led by an idiot.

So, tell us Sir - who do you think would win the battle?"

That was an interestingly deceptive question that was posed to me under the youthful - but mischievously watchful pair of 22 eyes. I knew that I had to deliver a stupendous punch-line as an answer to a cunning bait.

Now, before I disclose the answer that was made by me to the youth of yesterday - I'd like to forward their riddle to this motley group here of tomorrow. So . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . tell me guys, "Who do you think would win the battle?"

Even add Office 365 into the list. Though MS claims it's successful on business side, for me, it's more about the cloud than anything else.

@ dMog, calguyhunk & johndoe

Regardless of your answers - reputation simply for making the attempt. Waiting for others (excepting implague) to respond before I make my disclosure - I might throw in some clues on the way. :)

Edit:

My previous riddle - on the face of it, may seem to be off-topic. It's not - in fact, it bears direct relevance to all of the Microsoft programs & applications mentioned above.

The wise man leading idiots is a perfect combination, and most certainly winning combination.

For the wise man, as leader, idiots are like pieces of chess, and you do not want for pawns to move on their own, which is what wise men would do.

Idiots are perfect, easy influenced and unquestionably performing any task.

In reality, which we all live in, it is often the case that leaders are idiots,

and you would think that if an idiot is leading wise men, then he might perform good being influenced by those men.

That is not the case, since he's an idiot, ... lol.

the side with the most idiots always wins - case in point - Government - any government :D

As for governments I believe they are governed by group of wise and wealthy men that share the same goal, which is staying wealthy, gaining even more wealth and not sharing their wealth with others. These group of people control, amongst everything, media, therefore are responsible for indoctrination of idiots and trough media maneuvering election of leaders. Whether leaders are idiots or not they are preselected. This can be applied to most governments.

And no, I don't think anyone, except very few, is a winner, at least not in this case.

Edit:Typo

On this planet the idiots ALWAYS win, especially if they are not held back by such trifles as rules, laws or ethical concerns.

M$ is NOT an 'innovator' and never was; they stole most everything while settling out of court whenever caught red-handed UNTIL they were rolling in dough, then they just started buying up and/or killing off anything to keep their $$$ rolling in.

Godfather Gates was NEVER a s/w genius - but instead a marketing obsessed genius who knew how to rope in stupid people.

Moral of the story:

One 'wise' man generally succeeds when leading a pack of fools.
