@cyberber

Microsoft released Windows Server 2012 R2 to MSDN subscribers today, ahead of the Build conference (26th June) in San Francisco.

A number of editions are available for the Preview, including Essentials, Developers, Windows Azure and IT Professionals, and they will expire on January 15, 2014.

Win8.1 client edition, Pro, of the preview build will be out shortly (though has apparently leaked already , 8.1 preview build will be 9431).

Will this be a free update for Windows 8 users or do we have to pay? I heard they were moving to an annual subscription model for Windows Blue/8.1

Of course, free....24 Hours to wait!!
