Correct ADB drivers for your device :- http://www.samsung.com/pk/support/model/GT-S6012BBAPAK-downloads

Grab the Windows one of course (76mb), uninstall ALL other versions of android drivers you've installed, before continuing.

Unplug your usb cable,

Enable USB debugging in your Android options, may need to enable developer mode (device dependant)

Install the above drivers, and plug usb cable in.

Windoze will do the rest.

Dodel

Ok when you connect your phone to PC, rather than have it setup as a mass storage device, change it to camera (PTP), and see if that works.

Also, try this (MTP device drivers)

Download MPT (Media Transfer Protocol) Porting Kit and then install it to your computer. You can download the MPT Porting Kit installation file through the Microsoft’s official website directly http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=19153

The reason I've linked you to the MPT drivers, is that you have a screenshot further up this thread showing a failure of installing the MPT sub-section.

Also ensure you've disabled your AV & Firewall, as I expect they would inhibit installing low level drivers.

Regards

Dodel.

KIES is the biggest junk of software, it's bad, it s#cks, it's a PITA. I don't think it's software or driver related, which cable do you use? I had the same issues using a cheap copy of USB cable that came with the charger (Taiwan maybe).

I'm using original USB cable that comes with the phone, I bought my phone yesterday. It's all new. :)

bro maybe your drivers are messed up

1)download this little portable app by nirsoft http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usb_devices_view.html ,run as administrator and uninstall all android and samsung drivers from all ports.

2)reboot and install these drivers http://developer.samsung.com/android/tools-sdks/Samsung-Andorid-USB-Driver-for-Windows

3)enable automatic drivers installation through windows update(if disabled)and connect your phone to laptop

4)check if it works.

btw nice wallpaper

Actually, that's the only problem. :)

You were right man! MPT Device was the real problem.

I downloaded MPT (Media Transfer Protocol) Porting Kit from the link you had provided,

then did a fresh installation of driver and MPT kit, after restarting i connected the USB cable,

automatic Installation of driver started and finished successfully..
