VideoLAN also features a cross-platform multimedia player, VLC, which can be used to read the stream from the network or display video read locally on the computer under all GNU/Linux flavours, all BSD flavours, Windows, Mac OS X, BeOS, Solaris, QNX, Familiar Linux. VideoLAN is free software, and is released under the GNU General Public License. Fallon Posted June 11, 2013 Share Posted June 11, 2013 I have returned to vlc-2.0.5-win64 for now, because at the start of video clips it has the least interference. In both 2.06 and 2.07 the picture breaks up more often for a few seconds, right after startup. Not for all clips, but for a lot. No reason to put up with that.
