Saki33
Malwarebytes is not able to detect a pirated version. It's a simple name search. What they do is look for a file with their name on/in it that did not come from them. If, e,g., you have a folder in your torrents downloads folder that has something like malwarebytes/keygen in it they assume you have a pirated version. I'd guess that if the pirates did a deliberate misspelling of the file name they could avoid the scold. One thing Malwarebytes could accomplish with the threat is that if someone chooses to remove the "malware," it would corrupt the torrent and the user would be unable to share it. mariacanet
Can some of you remember the old keygen called " patr** " and the very useful explanations on how to use it ? :lol:Of course my actual version of MBAM Pro is bought and payed .... 'cause it's (imho) the very best anti-spyware/malware ever made. ;) Edited February 28, 2014 by mariacanet
xboy52
Aside from detecting intrusive and harmful software on people’s computers, the anti-malware application Malwarebytes is also able to detect which users are running a pirated version. While some software vendors might respond aggressively to unauthorized users, the San Jose company takes a more gently approach in the belief that every user contributes to the success of the software, pirates included.Don't steal Source: TorrentFreakAlso did on MalwareBytes Anti-malware beta 2.0.0.504 Edited March 2, 2014 by xboy52
