Whoa this is a very old thread. I forgot I even started it :P

Anyway, I'm still with NE after these few months. No problems here :)

Can it be configured somehow to update only when the current license is invalid (like NodEnabler). Or must I always update manually?

MiNODLogin is automatic. If the key is valid, it doesn't change it. If the key is invalid, it change it for a new one.

When you start up the pc the program search for updates and verify the key.

Here is the official website... MiNODLogin

Mi english is very crappy....sorry

I stopped using NodEnabler for the while, it just keeps searching and searching and never finding a password to insert and the icon remains there forever. Truly disappointing. It also gives errors with Interactive Services when you try to schedule it in NOD32. This is more the fault of nod32, they need to update their code to actually be compatible with Vista and Win7 instead of hoping it works by a fluke which is what it is doing now. Vista and Win7 operate differently from XP in that it separates a programs' services from its main application exe and they are held in different sessions I believe. This is a security feature of the ever evolving fight against malware and the way programs execute. The sad thing is ESET is still depending on decade old code to schedule and execute programs with "system" credentials and this nonsense has to stop because we are not in the era of windows 2000 anymore. This could be just 1 of the many reasons why ESET is yet to make the cut in the Microsoft recommended list of security applications.

NodLogin forever shows up that splash screen which also breaks the system when you schedule it with nod32, the only one working properly when scheduled in nod32 is MiNodLogin. This does not mean I stopped using NodLogin though :hehe: I simply use the Windows Task Scheduler to run it instead of nod32.

  • 4 weeks later...

------------------------------------------------------------------------

No Problems with NodEnabler (v.3.2.3) - not Frontpaged yet. On frontpage is the old v. 3.2. But ...who cares ?

See Astalavista how many are happy to use it.

Blabbing is very easy...
