Roger D Posted June 5, 2013 Share Posted June 5, 2013 I bought hp ultrabook today. it has 500 GB hdd and 32GB ssd(in which windows 8 is preinstalled) .There is only one drive(C drive of 460 Gb approx) in My Computer. All windows files are in C drive only. will it be safe to do partition of C drive?(As it may include both ssd and hdd)PLz suggest.. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

eurobyn Posted June 5, 2013 Share Posted June 5, 2013 they use a express cache with the ssd and a mechanical drive to make it faster.so you could partition all you want.my opinion take out this small ssd and change it with a 80-256gb ssd and re install the system om the ssd.and keep the mechanical drive as data.
