Emule connection problem?

Hi all wiseone,

Currrently,

i just switch from ADSL to Cable.

(No router direct connect from cable modem)

No problem connecting emule before the switch.

But ever since changing it. only Emule connection fail. ;)

The rest(kazza, limewire...) are Okie

Pls advice

look at your cable/s home page for forum and people with the problem or google it. change port settings. a lot of cable companies are own by movie companies if you follow the trail

what cable company are you using?

What router/modem are you using? (brand/model)

and what ports is emule set to?

what version of emule are you using?

I using Starhub (one and only cable company around here)

Motorola modem 5101

port setting default no change 4662

emule version: eMule 0.46c MorphXT 7.3 :)

and try setting it to port 4000 or something and see if it'll connect give it some time the first time you connect to a new high # port it seems to take some time.

Just read the forum,

i'm not the only one affected.The problem lays with the ISP

and not my setting.

Damn that stupid fxxking ISP.

there is nothing i can but wait until it get better. :)
