maia
Never had any compatibility problems with Lastpass, just saying.I confirm. Before I stubbornly to use programs such as roboform or kaspersky password manager, but these programs have always problems with chrome and firefox updates. So I switched to using lastpass and everything changed for the better. Lastpass works with all 64-bit versions of the browser and not have problems with the continuous updates of firefox and chrome. If you think that is a free program and works very well ... what are you waiting to throw it in the toilet roboform and company? ;)I also had a lot of passwords saved in roboform. But just to get out of the continuing problems of bugs at each update of firefox or chrome, I installed lastpass and slowly I recovered all or most of my old password. Administrator DKT27 Posted May 22, 2013 Administrator Share Posted May 22, 2013 Good the hear that. The only problem with Lastpass is that it's cloud based, otherwise everything is great about it. Also, it's quite easy to transfer your passwords from others to Lastpass. :)

dcs18
Apart from the cloud part, the downside of LastPass is that it's not as User friendly and convenient (especially with applications) to use as RoboForm - the wonderful fact about LastPass though, is that it's compatible with the Nightly. dcs18
Which version of firefox is going to use asm.js?It was supposed to have been introduced in 22.0 Beta 1 - personally, not sure about it's presence as I've removed it from my system for reasons explained in my first post. Administrator DKT27 Posted May 23, 2013 Administrator Share Posted May 23, 2013 Which version of firefox is going to use asm.js?22 I believe. But be in no hurry, it will only speed things up that are specially optimized for asm.js.

I've tried it recently and wanted to drop Roboform, but I've disliked it because of areas that are bold in quotes above. :s
Administrator DKT27 Posted May 23, 2013 Administrator Share Posted May 23, 2013 Personally, I've never tried Roboform, as it's compatibility issues turns me off about it, so I can't comment on it's user friendliness, however, as for Lastpass, I myself haven't faced any user friendliness related issue so far and have never felt it's missing something or need any major improvement in something.Cloud well, it's something I'm totally against, however, the good news is, Lastpass keeps a local, encrypted copy of your passwords on your PC too, meaning, you can login while offline and still use the password manager perfectly fine, in addition to that, all the encryption is done at the local level first, and then uploaded the cloud. Meaning, in the end, if you have a strong master password and don't use Lastpass for bank / finance related things, you shouldn't worry about it being cloud based. I will try to test Lastpass again...I've tried Dashlane recently and the GUI looks better than other Password Managers I've tried, but I uses more resources ~50-120 MB and the Form Filler is broken or losing its focus. :angry:So its gets an uninstall from me. :P
