insanedown58
I mean can it cause the router to break where it would make the Internet connectivity malfunction and say restart?
VileTouch
it is possible if you have a coaxial connection, that the dhcp server throws a tantrum and disconnect the router. but that's not an error of the router itself....or the server, it's one of the regional...."boxes" (for lack of a better term) that usually drops your connection anywhere from daily to weekly and you have to do the ol' disconnect, wait, connect procedure. (that's a short excerpt from a 20 mins long explanation from my ISP)but i'm making too many assumptions already. i hope that's what you mean

Administrator DKT27 Posted May 12, 2013 Administrator Share Posted May 12, 2013 The router will, in most cases (or in all) never break or stop functioning or malfunction after an disconnection or with a bad connection. If that was the case (otherwise), I would have required a million routers by now. :)
