Boskorp Posted May 11, 2013 Share Posted May 11, 2013 Are there applications that use virtualization instructions of modern CPU/APU/Chipsets, other than VM apps (OS emulators)? For example do some antivirus virtual environtments benefit from those instructions? Or maybe some program compilers, encryption softwares, pre-OS environtments or thin-clients? In other words is there a point to enable CPU virtualization in BIOS/EFI if not using Virtual Machine?
