sanjoa
Hi, guys! How are ya? I've got an issue with Windows Update. Last night I've installed Samsung Kies and it installed some .NET Framework 4 hotfix. Windows Update found an update for that and I've installed it, but it still shows the updates. How can I fix this? Thanks in advance.
Roger D
You should restart your computer and then check for updates again.

gonza
Hi sanjoa. The various .NET Frameworks do have lots of updates. They have to be installed one after the other. Check the history for failures. It may be that nothing is wrong.

gonza
Hi sanjoa. You're not giving us all ithe information that's relevant. We don't know which version of Windows you're using, or if you're getting error messages and/or error numbers. For us to be able to help you, you need to help us by giving us information. Is Windows update saying the update(s) installed successfully when the update(s) happen(s), but then recording a fail in the history? Are you getting error numbers?Meanwhile, don't just keep on letting the same update repeat - Windows Update will download a fresh copy each time, and can make your WinSxS folder get larger even quicker than usual. At worst, if you are unable to resolve the problem, then hide the update.
