Porn filtering application

Hello..

A friend of mine keeps asking me for finding for him an application for blocking porn on his laptop ,

as he has a kids and he does not want them to watch porn.. (Bad decision or correct, doesn't matter)

So i searched a little bit and tried some programs (for example Kaspersky parental control),

all of them could block greek suspicious words, also english but none of the could block greeklish

So can anyone help me finding a porn blocker program to block English Greek and Greeklish words and of course sites?

I also visited pcmagazine for ratings , some of them had high rating but none of them are available on your site

So im all ears for your suggestions

U can use software Anti-Porn too , or blocked by Change ur Dns Setting .. googling it, or use link and adds on above ,,

i dont know exactly for Which Dns blocking porn , cz i love porn :troll:

easiest way...

www.opendns.com setup a free account, then add adult content to the filters. then setup your network DNS to there DNS (208.67.222.222 208.67.220.220) and there service will block 98% of all porn sites. The other 2% is sites that have not been rated or too new for the service to recognize

Just set on your ethernet and wifi adapter the following manual DNS IPs

Primary DNS: 208.67.222.123

Secondary DNS: 208.67.220.123

You can keep automatic IP and Gateway if you still want to take advantage of DHCP.

These are Open DNS IPs and they block you from most porn websites but also block your computer from accessing dangerous web pages with viruses, malware, spamware, crapware, badware.

You can create and account with Open DNS but just setting your IPv4 configuration with those DNS IPs will work without any need for new accounts.

sounds nice program , but how can i setup the DNS ? i am a bit noob

EDIT: I have changed the DNS 4 to the ip from photos instruction but it still not blocking greeklish words , also greek porn sites

go to control panel and network connections. right click on the connection that is actually going to the internet. click on properties. The list of items that says "This connection uses the following items" look for "Internet protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)". Click on it once the go to properties. Click on "Use the following DNS server addresses:" Then manually enter the above IP addresses I gave you" OK all the way out of the properties.

opendns.com has a 150k program that will automatically update your user name with the IP of your computer if you ever go anywhere and want the filter to keep working.

I had to google greeklish to find out what it means but couldn't you just add the most common greeklish porn word manually?
