lazzser
Hi all. I´m geting a litle confused. I tried the fixes from Box and from Mara and both of them seem to work OK. Updates, selfdefense and so.But looking at my system start with sysinternal´s LoadOrder it seems that both fixes makes some of the antivirus modules to load later. I think that´s a best idea to load the fix -earlier- than the AV does. Isn´t this way possible?I think that loading the AV modules later compromises the whole selfdefense function. Am I wrong?Thank you in advance and sorry about my english.
mara-
Well guys, I reinstalled ESS on my computer and I could not get any update, it always asks for username/password. I decided to register on Eset site to get trial key and I finally updated. I just hope that Eset is not going to add trial username/password as requirement to their evaluation servers.Cheers ;)

Something is strange happening. I done few test in VMWare with XP SP3 and it works fine there, but on my computer with Vista Ultimate SP1 x64 something is wrong. It was fine on my computer until today. I'll see what will happen in few days.Cheers

TxB
can i know how to uninstall mara fix if needed?Just run the fix again and it will offer you to uninstall.Does it revert all the changes, including registry entries, files, any system service that was started, etc?Does it leave anything behind? regy13
Am I the only one here that finds all this effort to create "the perfect trial reseter" meaningless since nodlogin 9.9 is working PERFECTLY? Is it all about the credit?
Bizarre™
NodLogin is about having a license.Trial Fixes are about unlimited trial. The best thing to keep in mind is: it's all about personal preference ;)

Is it all about the credit?NodLogin must be run when a new key is needed, which may be often. A trial reset potentially only needs to be run once and unloaded for ESET to work for 30 days.So resources can be conserved.

Is it all about the credit?nodlogin will last (and in fact there were various versions) until it will discover new keys, blacklisted from time to time, and offers no certainty that it will find them in the future (what about if those password sites will be closed?)."Trial resetter" is forever ;)

regy13
So resources can be conserved.Lol at conserving resources by not running a simple utility once a month. I don't even have it on schedule.nodlogin will last (and in fact there were various versions) until it will discover new keys, blacklisted from time to time, and offers no certainty that it will find them in the future (what about if those password sites will be closed?)."Trial resetter" is forever ;)LOLouder than ever. If that day of total destruction should come...THEN we will turn to trial reseters. And for the last time I'm telling you that I'm still using the first license nodlogin inserted since 02 March 09 without it being blacklisted and I have schedules disabled.Have fun in your never ending quest...(no offense to mara-box-marsu and all the other great crackers we're lucky to have. I've always used one of your cracks. I just believe that we don't need a trial reseter at the time.)

With NodLogin you have to launch it whenever the key gets blocked/runs out. I know it's a small difference, but that's why I want it.

Hoca
I installed ESS v4.0.314.0 and mara-fix v1.4 on Friday and have SelfDefence enabled (and working! ;) ) I have had no problems updating and have the latest sigs 3953.One weird thing is I have not rebooted since but I am still on 31days? I was expecting with SD enabled the days would count down until I restarted, am I missing something?
