TheAslan
I want to create a custom Windows 7, I want to install it to VmWare and then use audit mode, but is it audit mode the best solution or is there even better one? When I'm satisfied how my Windows 7 works how do I capture an image from VmWare and what tools I need for that?Thanx for advance.
ricktendo
Make sure you generalize it, to make it easy to capture you should create a VHD when setting up your VM. This way you can mount your VMware VHD (diskmgmt.msc -> Action -> Attach VHD) and capture it from within Windows (if you did not create a VHD to begin with look for a tool to convert your current virtual hard disk to VHD)
