Marik
So, I have a question....I click on the peer tabs and apart from those stupid isps that track you with names like "247-35-11.connect.netcom.no:51024" I also see seeds that look like this "[2001:0:9d38:6ab8:c72:c77e:7d1d:b9a0]:46056" and can't figure out wtf they represent. Tried pasting one into google but that obviously didn't work and I tried searching but didn't knew what to type in so I thought one of you could shed some light on the subject. Maybe I should've gone with filesharing chat section?
Administrator DKT27 Posted April 12, 2013 Administrator Share Posted April 12, 2013 IPv6. ;)The last part is the port number.EDIT: That IP, when converted to IPv4 is, 125.29.*.*. Which leads to Japan > Tokyo. :)
Marik
so.....the question is, are they isps that track you (cause I wanna know so I can add them to the ipfilter) and is there a way to restore it to its ipv4 state?
GRiM
so.....the question is, are they isps that track you (cause I wanna know so I can add them to the ipfilter)and is there a way to restore it to its ipv4 state?ISP's dont track you. Antip2p and other such groups do. All the ISP's do is pass on the warning letter.Dont panic, as mentioned its simply a IPv6 which can be enabled via utorrent settings.Install Peerblock, Obviously its not full proof just like a AV isnt but its better then not having it.
