Thank you very much, n0_risk! Cut-off time for the Glarysoft giveaway is 2 AM American central time and I missed it by a few minutes due to browser troubles.

I have been dealing with giveawayoftheday.com and http://game.giveawayoftheday.com giveaways for years, but only recently with the following giveaway sites as well:

Being that the installed app, using the Product Page's setup file, activated successfully, I am curious about how the setup file from the 'Data File Host' site (that I downloaded from the link you gave) may differ from the Product Page's setup file so that YOUR setup file, after installing, would need the 'Patch' (named 'easy.dvd.player.3.5.1.0833.[glary]-patch.exe') that you included within the 'easy.dvd.player.3.5.1.0833.[glary]-patch' folder ...especially being that the License Code (the same as the License Code shown above) needs to be used to register the app as well.

When you download my archive, you will find the same serial in the ReadMe too that means that you don't need the patch. That is why the giveaway page is linked too, follow the instructions there and you are ready to go.

I don't care that much if the demo from the homepage works or not, for what i care is, that the setup is at least the same one like the giveaway version and that is the case when unwrapping it.

I always post unwrapped setups and their full activations (to be able to register when ever the people want, except for giveaways that require hardware-activation or similar), normally you are not allowed to register anything other than the giveaway offer and the wrapped setup and in most cases the trial from the vendor will not work. I don't wanna spend the time to first install the giveaway, register it, delete the registration and then uninstall it and register the trial (or try to) or vice versa, why should i do that if i can directly use the original giveaway installer that works 100% on the first time with the given registration details?

You did not indicate what the 'Patch' is for ...just when and how to install it. I did not use your setup file, being that I noticed the License Code on the Glarysoft Giveaway page for the program and installed the app using the product Page's setup file.

Don't worry, the patch simply adds the registry entries, just in case the key gets blocked or can't be activated later or something (just to mention that the app tries to call home while registering and i posted earlier giveaways with a similar GUI in the past and the registration keys do not work anymore - like MacGo).

Let us go 1 week or more into the future and you will see that little window here, when you try to register, then you might need the patch. ;)
