Just to clear things up, the shine-less / non-glossy / non-shiny logos / icons are considered excellent by the designers even before Microsoft came with Metro - came to know about it from toyo, our former mod and a graphics designer. :)

What's the advantage of running a cracked version of the Professional or Business Edition? Support you won't get since you're not really a customer. Automatic updates to the latest version? It's true. CCleaner + CCEnhancer is all you need. Auto update doesn't work because it will uncrack the program and I only run CCleaner when my system is slow, which is not very often.

The browser monitoring means actually, that if you are closing the browser, you get the message that the browser has been closed and you can clean the traces (cookies,etc.). Or after closing the browser the automatic cleaning is in action (with or without message).

The same is for system monitoring.

However in my personal case i bought this to support the devs.

PS: as for updates, i shall try to give you the download of this retail edition every time. I dunno if i can do this. But lemme see.

Bug in monitoring feature: after reboot, the feature is disabled! Already contacted them because of this.

And the newly inroduced features aren't translated.

Here a modded CCleaner 4.00.4064

Changes in this custom modded CCleaner:

+ add/merge and trimmed *latest winapp2.ini into CCleaner program exe 32 and 64 bit binary (Resource > INI > 273)
by CCleanerEnh.exe and CCleaner64Enh.exe

* there is a message in code saying it reads with priority the file winapp2.ini if it is present in the program folder.





- Changed all Program Icons and Graphics (bmp, png, ico) CCleaner v4.00.4064, 32 and 64 Bit back to Version 3 CCleaner

+ add Registration info for Pro Version. The Reg info is filled out already. Disconnect from Internet is not more needed - the license server check have been removed with the following pattern.

It is easy with diablo2oo2's Universal Patcher (dUP) for example, to create quick a search/replace pattern Patcher for later Versions.

I removed the reg lic. svr. checks. You do not more need to disconnect the internet by registering!

After successful registration placing the generated ProgramFileName.dat (eg.: CCleaner.exe -> CCleaner.dat) file next to branding.dll in the CCleaner folder, tells the program that it's registered already - portable use for example.




The GUI offers many places which opens weblinks. It's possible using/changing or add a 'button' to open http://www.winapp2.com/Winapp2.ini It might give the user more comfort. I'll read your feedback about this here.

Critical Bug:

Have posted this elsewhere, too - that post was not critical, though.

That very same bug has now turned critical - bears specific reference to MailWasher Pro 7.1.0 (or 7.1.1 beta.) Previously, MailWasher was not cleaned/wiped, by default unless one used the Winapp2.ini file.

Now, the MailWasher entry appears with CCleaner and those using MailWasher Pro 7.1.0 (or 7.1.1 beta) would've realized that the entry at CCleaner under Applications is enabled (ticked) - by default.

The problem with MailWasher now being included and enabled, by default is that the rules are incorrect and causes the User to lose the Friends List, Blacklist and Learning Data. :thumbsdown:

All efforts to bring this to the notice of CCleaner Developers has met with a failure.
