Where the hell are the 8000 M series drivers?

I got a laptop with an 8770 M video card/chip in it, and I haven't found any updated drivers for it. The install date on CCC according to Windows 8 is 1/27/2013. I've tried to do auto detect but it says it doesn't recognize my card.

The problem I'm having is Resident Evil 6 keeps complaining about being out of memory. The card itself has 2GBs of GDDR5 RAM and the laptop has 8GBs of main RAM.

The fucking XBOX 360 only has 512MB of onboard and I don't think it has any VRAM. So why the hell it's running out of memory, I have no idea. Port of the Year 2013.

AMD, giving shitty graphics drivers from the start. :) Note: AMD user and fanboy. :P

Anyway, two things:

8000 M are based on 7000 desktops. So no idea why they haven't released the drivers yet.

Have you checked your laptop's website for drivers?

My close friend is having all sorts of graphics card issues too...nothing we have tried has fixed it. Too many flaws in these cards make me just sick.

Just stick with NVIDIA cards for gaming... they don't have as many if many flaws in them on laptops.... same with desktop line too of course :)

That is one of the very powerful cards you have got out there. ATI has stopped support for 5000M and older series of cards. But your card is the latest one so you have to get the latest drivers for that. Can you tell us, what is the brand of your notebook and which version of catalyst is currently installed in your notebook?

That's a secret for now ;)
