Could it be Micr.Silverlight ,that must be configured as a 64-bit component in Outlook??

We have the 32-bit version of Silverlight installed. Which 64-bit component could it be else?

Why is the Windows-installer always starting up first, when trying to start Outlook?

Please help,if you know what could be the solution!!

Did you try repairing only Outlook through the Add or remove programs?

No,if I try, you get in the Off-setup again? Did some google-research and could be Silverlight or the Windows-Search ( I unchecked this in the Windows-options,controlpanel),maybe one of these causing the Windows-Installer starting up with Outlook( 64-bit component configuration)

Well, I can not give up,after so much help of all you people,so I will make first a copy of my system and then start all over again ,in try-modus, uninstalling Off.2010 and installing Outlook and Word 2013.This time will activate Win.Search, maybe it has something with Outlook.

Also installing Silverlight 64-bit.

If someone has a good install-advice,please let me know, before I start this job.

OK! Let me thank you all for your help, especially dcs18,who gave me very good tips, the job is succeeded and closed!!

Everything works great, faster then Off.2010,and saved 500mb,just updated only Outlook and Word.

We are very happy with this Office 2013,with no skydrive-s****!!

Took me a hell of time, but its worth!!

THANK YOU ALL,WILL NOT FORGET!!

Hard to say, took more time to uninstall the previous office (2010 SP1) and activated the Windows-Search in Controlpanel(Windows-items).

Lots of garbage still left, if you uninstall office, even if you use very good uninstallers like TotalUninstal and then the official Windows Fixit !

Anyway all works fine, and very fast too! Its been worth doing this ,and again: THANK YOU ALL,FOR HELPING ME WITH THIS DIFFICULT PROJECT!!

Lemme tell you that when you install an application suite, especially with default options, like office 2013 or even 2010 there are certain registry entries created that affect the entire suite of apps ! This is why its preferable to install only the components you want/need at the first instance so as to not screw up any software dependencies or default settings later on ! Now any other software like total uninstall may remove some of those components but the rest of the apps are configured in such a way that any registry entry or component missing will probably screw the rest of them, this is why in your case outlook 2013 was frequently accessing the MSO cache &/or the Windows installer folder to make the app work ! So my advice ~ don't fiddle around with complex apps like MS office too much cause each individual system behaves differently & its not easy to troubleshoot such issues unless you have physical(or remote) access to that particular machine !
