jalaffa
ESET NOD32 Antivirus offers advanced detection technologies and multi-layered security features. Designed for a low footprint, fast scanning, it packs security features and customization options for consistent and personalized security on- or offline. ESET NOD32 Antivirus is built on ESET's unique heuristic technology that identifies viruses that have never been seen before. This enables them to protect your computer proactively, in real-time, against new viruses and cyber threats that conventional signature-based antivirus products don't catch. ESET NOD32 Antivirus includes antivirus, antispyware, antirootkit and HIPS protection, removable media control, cloud-enhanced whitelisting and gamer mode.Download

Except a bug, which hangs the mouse every 5 mins or something for 2-3 seconds, I haven't seen ESET 6 slowing down my system at all (as of yet). ESET 5 on the other hand, had a HIPS related CPU spike, which seems to have been fixed in ESET 6 (I don't use ESET's HIPS though).Anyway, try it, and then decide. ;)
dcs18
Except a bug, which hangs the mouse every 5 mins or something for 2-3 secondsNever seen that bug in any of the machines that I installed NOD32 on - however, there are some interesting bugs which continue to haunt even the latest V6 (right from V3 - have mentioned them in the thread where the alleged ESET representative Lemark made his debut.)
