MasterFaster
I wanted to try Parallels Workstation 6.0.13976 and thus I installed it in my Windows 7 x64 host OS.http://www.parallels.com/products/workstation/Appart from the fact that it performs poorly (VMware and VirtualBox are many times better), it also increased the DPC latency. For more info about DPC latency vist:http://www.thesycon.de/deu/latency_check.shtmlAnyway, I unistalled it and now I have normal values for DPC latency. MasterFaster
VMware workstarion and VirtualBoxParallels Desktop is a known virtualization in the Mac world, it is reported to be fast, support 3D acceleration etc.Unfortunately Parallels Workastation for Windows is not that advanced. There is an exception though Parallels Workastation Extreme (the same setup file, but when you register the serial number, you enter an Extreme edition serial). Parallels Workastation Extreme support full hardware acceleration if your CPU support Intel VT-x and VT-d and you have one ot the supported NVIDIA Quadro graphics cards.http://www.parallels.com/products/extreme/Either way, VMware and VirtualBox are better choices. I think Parallels lost the game in the Windows software market.
