nasernori
No need for registry editing. you can use hfs. add "eset_upd" folder as "real folder" in hfs and add the following line in hosts file.127.0.0.1 update.eset.com hfs download link:http://www.caa-acli.it/hfs/hfs.exe

nasernori
I have Win8x64 too. you should put the "update.ver" and "*.nup" files inside "eset_upd\v6\" folder.

Guest Praveen
yes I have already tried that too.still eset updates online onlylink works in browser, don't know why eset ignores thisIs this trick working for you in eset 6(important!)Anyway below trick is working for me, but 4 restarts, anyway win 8 restart and reboots under 10 sec (so no big deal)install eset 6reboot to safe modechange package feature from 53 to 51no we can choose custom download locationupdate offlinereboot to safe mode change back to 53restart to normaldone!Note: changing package feature to 51 breaks the eset UI (see post http://www.nsaneforums.com/topic/160974-eset-6-offline-update-registry-edit-help/#entry543770 for details) but do NOT break any functions or modules(double checked)
