FukenGruven Posted January 16, 2014 Share Posted January 16, 2014 i haven't had to think about Web Browsers in years...until the last part of last year..it's very complicated..i've used the majority of browsers out there..and honestly.. i still don't know which one is for me..I used to use Firefox .. then switched to Opera ..then had to drop Opera cause it's dead..now.. after installing Win8..i was using IE.. trying to keep it au-nasheral..then realized IE is integrated into Windows and has the potential to leak data..so i blocked IE w/TinyWall..uninstalled it .. and Flash..Now.. as of last week.. i was using Chrome ..loved it..except for the RAM usage..it eats up a LOT of RAM!but the interface is beautiful.. and rather responsive..then i start digging into the inner-workings..it's basically a Web Browser trojan..sucks..so now.. im using IronPortable..it's just like Chrome.. but all the Trojan-like features have been stripped out..Plus.. im using the PAF version..and IronPortable uses a Launcher.ini file for easy configuration..The Chrome version uses NSIS.. which is not hard.. but i prefer the Launcher.ini file ..so for the umpteenth time..i've made a switch again..using Iron until further notice :) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
